Lifting leg... EVERYWHERE! Diezel was totally trained in my old apartment and always used the pad unless he had an accident right next to it. In the new apartment he was great the first 2 weeks. Never went anywhere but the pad. Now for the past 2 weeks I notcied that the pad is hardly used. And he goes alot so it should be. I have a shag rug so I can never tell when he goes on it but tonight I caught him lifting his leg on his crate AND on his toy.. I could only imagine where he is going and how often. How the heck do I stop this. I am investing in a new rug next week becaue shag is to hard for me to clean myself so if I am going to have to get a carpet cleaning machine a flatter rug will me easier to rid of the smell. Any advice??? |
is he neutered? |

Thank u! Hopefully I will figure this out. I mean he is 1 1/2 years old and it is driving me crazy that we are going backwards .. :thumbdown |
Don't know why they do it, but I puppy sat my friend's male yorkie last week. She warned me that he is a "marker". My boy doesn't mark and I didn't have any belly bands. So I took one of my thinner socks, put a woman's mini pad on it and pinned it around him. (I used a large, strong safetypin) Anyway, it did the trick. I think it also cramped his style, so he hardly lifted his leg in the house. Something like that might help til you figure out what's going on. Good luck |
