yorkie pom mix? i found a yorkie pom mix puppy it was in a flyer in a store i called the number and they said that it was a mistake they are not breeders they had the yorkie boy and they also had the pom girls anyway they are only asking what they paid for in shots no more they said they are not trying to make money it was a mistake that there dogs breed the only thing is i saw the dogs they look like poms what do you think im not going to get one just want to know what you all think is it ok to get a mix if they look more like one side |
I don't have a problem with mixes, I now a lot of people get touchy over it, but it's JMO. I do however hate people who buy into the "designer breed" craze and make money off of unassuming people. Some of the cutest puppies i've seen have been mixes. And I prefer the term a mixed breed, rather then a mutt. I find the term slightly insulting. |

I see nothing wrong with it. It's not unusual to have fa mix loook for like one parent than the other. As long as they aren't trying to pass a mix off as a purebred, which I'm sure is done quite frequently. They're being honest and just looking for homes for them. Not trying to capitalize on a mistake. |

thank you!! |
I would love to buy a yorkie pom mix but cant find a breeder or anyone? |
I have a Yorkie / Poo and he is soo sweet. He takes after his father, who was little, and a Yorkie, then he has the black curly fur like his mother who is the Poodle. Ears are down like mom's and the nose and face like the father. But he is very sweet, and loves to snuggle. Takes after his name, "Romeo". I see nothing wrong with a mixed breed. :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa |

I would get her if it was me. There is a lady in pa who breeds them. the one thing I saw in her website is that they do change color and hair texture. So you migh think she looks like a pom, but she migh grow to look half anf half, or even more yorkie. |
I forgot to mention, the prices for this yorkiepoms arent that low |
hi everyone thanks for all the compliement about little girl!!!..thank you so much she had the pom undercut and a yorkie coat on top and it gets harder to manager the older she gets!!..its mats soooo bad now..it didnt use to i acutually just shaved some of the undercut..opps not a good move i got little girl 6 yrs ago..for christmas from my dh (wasnt my dh then) i wanted either a yorkie or a pom...found a mix for 250.00...she was born on halloween...(same night one year earlier i started dating my DH) anyways..she is 5lbs and is loyal only to my husband who didnt want her and now thats his heart, just as much as the kids are. they eat off the same plate, they used to go muddin in his truck all that..i bred her once..i wasnt sure i wanted to at first but she kinda get busy one night..so we had 3 babies back in march 07...they all turned out well...BUT not one person has sent me pics!! magnum i wanted a second one...and we found the breeder again (i didnt keep her info the first time) and the only thing i could remeber was the city and what her yard looked like... so we found it and come to find out little girls sister had a litter ready...and tanner was sooo small..at 6 months he was 1.6lbs..he took a head injury and passed away...=( i have seen different yorkie poms...so look nothing like what you want mine and the people that i know all turn out to look very similar...sometime the colors vary some but nothing extreme...like all black mine i charged i think it was 450-500.00 and another lady i know charges 500.00 and someone i used to be aquanited with charges anywhere from 400-1500.00 which i think is outrageous!!!...but people bought them!! i guess if i thought i could get that much for a mix i would too..i will admit i love the term "designer breed" sounds so much prettier then mutt...and who could call little girl and magnum mutts...they are too cute!! |
