UGH! I'm just not sure what to do! I just got the petzlife in the mail, I was so excited to try it. Zoey hates it! She almost acts like she is going to bite me when I try to put it on her lips. I even tried it with peanut butter this morning. Nope, she wasnt having no part of it. She tried one lick and took off running. Ugh... I'm not sure what to do. I was hoping for a miracle......

Minnie doesn't care for it either but its still better then putting them under for teeth so she gets it anyway. Maybe in time they will get use to it.

does it work? ive been thinking about getting it for mine as tye has tartar on his teeth and cant be put under as hes got breathing problems.

LOL, I know exactally what you mean. I ordered it and it came last week.
I brush Buddy's teeth everyday but purchased this for added insurance.
He did the same thing. I think it is the sound of the spray! I use it on Mon and Thurs nights. If he dosent' get use to it this week I have to think of another way to put it on his teeth.:D

I have the gel. She just runs from me. She can smell it a soon as I get it out. I bet she would freak out even more with the spray. It would take two to do it. She wont let me brush her teeth at all!

I think she will get used to it. I mostly use the spray and just open Maddie's mouth and quickly spray. If I use the gel, I just open her mouth and scrape it off my finger with her teeth.

I'd say keep trying. I've been using it a year or so and Maddie's teeth are still as white and tartar and plaque free as they were when they first came in. My sister says she's never seen a dog with as white a teeth as Maddie has!

Do you wipe her teeth with a cloth every once in awhile?

I'm not sure what to tell you cause Sissy will lick it right off my finger. She likes it. I will sometimes take a little extra and hold her and rub it directly on her teeth (particularly the back ones). You might need to do it this way till she gets used to it.
