.8 of a pound? Hey, Ariel is now almost 7 weeks old and weighs .8 of a pound, what is that in ounces? She is doing well though and is strong and healthy! Can't wait for her to come home!! :) |
ohh how exciting I can't wait to see pictures of her she must be really tiny and adorable .8 is ounces:eek: |
8ozs is 1/2 a pound (lbs) That very TINY. |
about 14 ozs, I believe.. |
yup it's 14 ounces. Congratulations on your new puppy and welcome to YT! |
oh my gosh! how TINY! Can't wait to see her! |
My little Candi was 13 ozs when I got her at 10 weeks, she is smaller than I hoped for but a total doll. She is now almost 10 months and weighs 2lbs 3ozs... |
Yep, .5 would be half a pound so .8 is 14 oz. Lola was that exact weight at 7weeks and now at 7 months old she's 2 1/2 pounds. Keep in mind, some start off slow but can catch up in weight(worms, not getting enough to eat, etc.). With a small baby you want them to have extra time with their mom so they can get bigger. Most people with tinies won't let them go until they're about 3 months old(some place even more) just to make sure they don't have any health problems. It may take a little longer for her to come home but it'll be worth the wait! |
Would love to see pictures!!! |
Thanks for the replies and info! She is short and little but doesn;t feel skinny, she feels a little chunky even. LOL Yes, I am sure we will have to wait a bit for her but she doesn;t live far away and I am thinking I need another visit!! :) |
Multiply .8 times 16 to get the number of ounces. |
waiting is the hardest part You must be so excited. Its so hard to wait. good luck:) |
