Annie.......and say a little prayer please
 

I can not believe that the time has finally come to go and get Annie! :happyboun
We have been waiting for her, for 4 months!

The schedule is a little crazy :eek: but who cares!!! Not me!

I would like to ask that you keep us in your prayers during our travels. A storm came through and there is now snow in the mountains.

So how crazy our my travel plans, well it goes a little like this…..
My dear hubby and I will leave home this am(Wednesday) at 1:30 yes AM. :eek: Travel for 3-31/2 hours across 2 mountain passes that now for some reason have snow on them, to Sea-Tac Airport.
My dear hubby is going to stay in Seattle and spend the day with his brother and hopefully get some sleep while I am flying.
My flight leaves at 6:20 AM. I get to fly into Houston(Vi, I’ll be waving from air :wavey: ) I only spend 40 minutes in Houston, so lets hope my flight is on time!!! I fly into Knoxville TN at 4:20 PM. Now I do promise to not push and shove the people in front as I run to the ticket counter to meet Karen, Kim, Bear, Monkey & of course pick up and hold my little Annie. :tinyheart
I actually get to stay in Knoxville for 2 ½ hrs and visit with Karen and Kim!!! I am so excited!!! I get back on the plane at 6:54 pm, go back to Houston(waving to Vi, from the air :wavey: ) and this time I get to spend 45 minutes in Houston. Then onto Seattle. Where at 9:00 pm my oldest daughters' flight is due to come in. She is flying home from PA(she just spent 2 weeks with her bf and his family) and dear hubby will be there to meet her. Then they have to wait 2 ½ hours for me to come in.
I heard they are making plans to head to McDonalds. My flight comes in at 11:35pm, and then it is the 3- 3 ½ hour drive home.
So we should be back home around 3:30 am on Thursday!
My other 2 daughters are home because of college and high school. So they will be waiting anxiously for us to get home!

Now the 1st thing I am going to do is sign up for the gift exchange, because I will then have Annie in our home, and then as soon as I am conscious I will post pictures!!

WOW I'm tired just reading about it. :) Hope they have good starbucks at the airport. :) I will keep you in my prayers and Good luck in the snow. We had flurrries here lastweekend and I Am not looking forward to the real stuff. I Know all will go well And we'll be welcoming Annie home real soon.

Congratulations!!! sounds like quite a trip! but I'm sure it'll all be worth it when you look into those adorable eyes!! Have a safe journey and hope to see pics of Annie soon.

Can't wait to you get here girl, I want to get there before you so I can see you face when you see Annie for the first time....I am sure there are going to be alot of tears of joy...I am praying for you during your long trip...and you know what that means...:) Try to rest on the plane cause you are going to need it.....:p Won't be long now Muriel....:p

Boy, i thought i had a long trek to get my baby (a 3 hour drive each way) but thats absolutly nothing compared to this!

The things we go thru for these little doggies...but its soooo worth it though! Once you get those kisses, your trip will seem like nothing!:aimeeyork

This is SO COOL !! Wish I could come see you at the airport - I was susposed to meet up with Artie when she was here 2 weeks ago - but Chanel was really sick so I couldn't make it .....You'll only be here 45 minutes so you won't be getting off the plane ....but...I'll be waving back to you girl !!!

Well it was love at first site...Annie loves Muriel she keep giving her kisses...I have to post this one of Annie for her, because she would look at us with Muriel's camera....Congratulations Muriel and it was so great to finally meet you even if we sat there 20 min no knowing who was who....lol:p Here is a pic of Annie & monkey....:D

I was thinking of her last night ...I live near a small airport and was sitting outside late last night and imagined how there was ONE person on those planes flying by who was feeling like the luckiest person in the world last night....

so glad everything went well and Peanut - you rock !
