very little hair on her head.?? my lil girl i 10 weeks, and when we got her she had really thin hair on her head, the rest of her is really fluffy/curly.. my first thought would have been bows, but i have only ever put one in because of the thin hair, and i know where she was before they did not but any in, has any one else had this problem, should i be worried,?? |
All yorkies are different. Did you get to see her parents? Did they have thin hair? Puppies usually go through a phase where they lose hair but it's usually more like 4 to 5 months. I wouldn't worry about it but you might want to ask eht breeder if her litter mates are the same. |
I'd also like to know because Ginger has thin hair on the top of her head. I'd like to put bows in it but there's not enough hair :( Oreo on the other hand, has too much! |
Tia's hair got really thin on her head, but is now thickening up and growing :) I think it was just a puppy phase :) |
Same with Fred! His face is starting to get silver and so is the top of his head. Compared to his body, his head hair is reallly thin! |
I feel like Esme's hair is really thin at the top of her head too. For this reason, I stopped putting bows in. I thought that if I left it alone, it might fill in. I am waiting very patiently. :D |
I'm waiting for Mochas top knot to grow.. I want to put a bow in but its still too short |
1 Attachment(s) Cheri my 10-1/2 month old has very fine silky hair and on her head she barely has enough for a bow - it took to about 10 months for me to gather enough -I put in smallish bows from Petedge and they work pretty well.... But she has hardly any hair too - it grows - and you can still put a bow in if your careful not to pull what 4 hairs they have ! |
