Nutro Max Puppy Food Please Help! I've search the past threads for info on Nutro Max for puppies. I'm currently feeding Riley (7 months old) Science Diet. The breeder had her on it & the vet recommends it. But the more a read the less I like Science Diet. I just got home from PetCo with a bag of Nutro Max. ??? Does anyone here feed this to their puppy? Is this small bites? The package says "for all breeds & sizes" Riley is so small that she really small bite size. Thanks, G |

I feed Lillie,18 wks old, Nutro Ultra Puppy...the kibbles are small...I tried Nutra Max for Sadie...(she didn't like it though) I believe it said mini chunk on the bag. Make sure it is puppy food and not adult...Science Diet isn't a very good food...most vets carry it so it only makes sense for them to recommend it....good luck! |

I feed Gracie (7 months) Nutro Natural Choice Puppy Love Love Love it |

I just changed from Science Diet to Nutro small bites, all my little ones (6) have liked the change. I spoke to the rep. from Nutro and after looking into all the ingedients of the other products changed to the Nutro. It is said that the coats will look better, poops will be smaller, itchy skin will stop etc. Plus there are no added fillers in Nutro like the others.........:D :Pawprint: |

That's exactly what I feed my pups, Nutro Max Puppy for all breeds and sizes. I've only fed Nutro for about seven years and wouldn't buy anything else. My little two pounder is doing just fine on it. |

Bengi eats Nutro natural balance but the wet food |

Both my Yorkies are on Nutro Max and have done really well with it. |

i'm feeding my 11 weeks puppy on nutro too... but she seems do not like it :( i gave her a small cup every morning yet she cant finish it untill the next day.... :( so i have to feed her everytime and she only have few bites of it. when she was with the breeder she was fed with eukanuba, according to the breeder eukanuba will boost up the imune system of the puppy cuz she is so small size, when i got her home i fed her with nutro immediately she was having diarrhea after 3 hours, the next day early in the morning i send her back to the breeder and he took care of her for 1 week, now she is back with me and this whole week she seems not eating on her food :( so i am worry, will anyone please advise me.... i have to come back during lunch hour to feed her, yet still she took a few of it only, but luckily she is still active and very playful. |

nutro we actually feed shayna nutro natural choice puppy food. we originally had her on royal canine, and then the vet suggested Iams because she wasnt really eating the royal canine. but she didnt like the iams hard food either, so we were mixing in some wet food. then we took her to visit steves mom's dogs, and shayna started eating their hard food, which was nutro natural choice dog food...she LOVED it! so we went right out and bought the puppy kind and shes been eating great ever since!! |

Thanks everyone. I opened the bag of Nutro Max & while the the size isn't as small as Sceince Diet Small Bites, Riley doesn't seem to have a problem with it. I will slowly change her food. Hopefully she'll adjust. |
