Question on AKC Papers I was wondering if anyone has heard that if you get your Yorkies spayed or neutered there AKC papers don't mean anything? I would like to hear others input on this. Thank you, Debbie and Skittles:animal-pa |

I know the AKC works a little differently in regards to registration papers, in Canada, the Canadian Kennel Club requires anyone selling a dog or puppy to supply the registration paper for the dog transfered to the name of the new owner. It is illegal to sell a dog as purebred unless they are registerable. The dog or puppy can already be spayed or neutered at time of sale or their can be nonbreeding contracts filed with the registration. But the buyer still gets a Certificate of Registration listing them as the new owner. |
