We went to Radioshack today to get new cell phones and was there for quite some time...during Rocky's normal poop time! He was whining and squirming, so I set him on the floor. I didn't think of the time, and sure enough he dropped a few right on the floor! Luckily they thought it was funny, and gave me some lysol and paper towels to clean the mess up, and let me use the employee bathroom to dispose of his mess and wash my hands. I was soo embarrased! They're response was "atleast it wasn't you who pooped" LOL:p

They were nice -

Nothing personal - but, this is exactly why a lot of stores don't allow dogs.

And - a lot of people don't even appreciate having to smell it or watch it being cleaned up.....at least not in a public store. (It doesn't bother me that much - because I'm used to cleaning up dog poop all the time -- but, some people aren't).

I was in a store the other day - and I and at least three other people walked through some dog poop -- it was tracked all over and the the dog and its owner were long gone. Needless to say - there were several unhappy shoppers.


But - you lucked out - and how right you are - how embarrassing....!!

The mall
 
I took shewy to the mall... He used to NEVER go while we were out. he could hold it up to 8 hours no lie! But we went to the mall and were in the food court... He decided to pee on the floor!!! I almost died!!!!! I was so embarrested. I was ordering a sub and I said to this guy.. (Young kid...) I need paper towles NOW!!!! he was so shocked he just stood there... I was like NOW!!!!! And he got them for me. Never again!!!!:eek:

Food court ? I'd be thrown out if I had entered this area.

I know this is why a lot of stores don't allow dogs..and for the sanitary reasons, and because of people who don't clean it up, I can totally understand that. I was actually going to title this "Why dogs aren't allowed":p

Hahahahahaha same here. When we went to Ikea's food court Rocky had to stay in his bag, under the table. I made sure to slip some meatballs and french fries to him though :)

Well I thought the food court was ok since youre out in the open and no one store owns it... I have had him hin his carrier at the food court since he peed but only in his bag... no one knows he's there and we sit far from other people... ;)

I would assume, if the mall is pet friendly than they would be allowed in the food court, but you never know. That's why if I'm going to sit and eat I make sure he stays in his bag.
