Just introducing myself and my little guy Spencer. Hi everyone, So happy to find this terrific site! We have a 6 yr old yorkie, whom we were blessed with when he was 2 and a half yrs old as a rescue. He is actually a very large yorkie at about 11-12lbs, but yorkie in every way. Many people ask if he is a silky due to his size but from pictures he looks more like a yorkie to me. Now I really am not too computer savy so will need some help to post a picture of him on here, hubby is at work right now. Anyhow I will post in the appropriate area about our recent scare with him after a routine dental cleaning which may be of interest to some. Just wanting to say hello and hope to learn lots here. |

Welcome, Spencer'smom! I'm new here too....it sure looks like a great place to be:) . Hope you can post some pics of Spencer soon~ computers can be so aggravating at times, LOL! I have Max, who's 6 lbs. (the giant of his litter; his one sister who lived next door to us was about 4 lb, and his other sister was only 2 or 3 lbs....really tiny!) and a year and a half old now. I think you'll have less problems with a larger dog; at least that's what I've been told. It's wonderful that you gave him a home! :animal-pa |
