Is my yorkie just strange or does yours do this too?? I have a piece of furniture with a small cut out on the bottom. I have repeatedly watched Snickers put his little soccer ball (his favorite toy)under there & then he'll just sit & wait for me to get the broom & get it out. He doesn't bark or whine......he just patiently will wait for me to walk by & then wag his tail like crazy until I get it out. What in the world?? Why would he constantly do this? |
Awww, how cute lol! Maybe he just wants to play :p Stedman hides his bully stick all the time. Last night I found it stuffed down inside my magazine rack in the living room  :p |
:D YES!! Bambie does that too..... it's so funny when you look at her and you can see she does it on purpose. Another thing she does is when she lies on the edge of the sofa with a toy, she kind of push it's bit by bit till it drops down. And then she lies there looking down at it and want me to pick it up. In the beginning I did, but I figured out what she was doing. So now she has to jump down and pick it up by herself. It's only for attention!!! |

OMG ! Piccolo does the exact thing ! He pushes his ball under the dresser and looks at me like : "help mommy, I can't get it out " The moment I get it for him - he pushes it back. And let me tell you, it's not that easy for me to grab the ball because the dresser is quite wide. I have to use a stick to reach it. |
Minnie will pick up things she is not suppose to have Paper, granddaughter toys etc. and bring them to me but she won't give them up without a treat. lol |
Howie does the same thing with pushing his toys off the couch and waiting for me to pick it up for him. And dontcha know the second I pick it up for him he knocks it right off the couch again! :p :p |
That is Tysons fav game, he is 12weeks old and has been doing it for about 2weeks, he just started doing it to TJ he started it with me awhile ago and I was like enough already, but he had dad wrapped, TJ yelled from the living room the other nite tht he was doing it and I said well put him down or just stop gettingthe toy if it is bothering you...............and with tht TJ told me it was to cute to stop so all day yesterday they watched football together and Tyson would do it and TJ would yell fumble and TJ would pick it up and give it to Ty and he run around the couch while TJ yelled recovery go all the way Tyson...................TOUCHDOWN............and then they have a touchdown dance............I guess I am lucky we have the Bucs as a team, so there is not a lot of TD here in our house..........so please dont ever think anything the puppy does is crazy............we need to take a good luck at ourselves.....just think if they could type and had a forum they would be talking about how strange us humans are tht we are digging things out of couches and playing pretend football...............So lets really think about this, who is the crazy one here............?:D :p :aimeeyork :) CHRISTINE and TYSON:animal-pa |
too funny :yelrotflm :yelrotflm Molly loves the push it off the couch game too. Another one is to hide something and then cry until I find it. It's not hard she hides things in the same places. If she can't find a good place to hide something she will cry until I hide it for her. She is such a silly nut.:p |

One night I was sitting on the couch watching TV and Dylan kept sticking his ball under there. I got lazy and tried to reach it without getting off the couch and I got stuck. I about broke my arm trying to get free. I had to roll off the couch and still scraped my arm up getting out. LOL I won't be trying that again. What we go through for our dogs. |
I just had to laugh when I read this. Meeko used to constantly put his ball under the printer stand when I was on the computer. Then if I didn't get it for him right away he would whine or bark at me until I went and got it for him. I think they are pretty darn smart to find a way to get your undivided attention when they want it. |
I think this is the Yorkie version of a child throwing toys out of the playpen to get attention. |
