You are not selfish!!! If there was no hope she would get better that is different! I know believe me I do, to be in the shoes of someone who is spending a fortune on vet bills to keep their baby going, and everyone thinking it is selfish...Well it is only selfish if there is no hope and only suffering and this is not the case!!!

I am praying for you guys now!!!

Still sending lots of prayers your way. Glad to read the antibiotics are helping Lexi feel better. And I don't blame you one bit and you are NOT being selfish!!! As you said, as long as there is a chance and hope, you can't quit. I would do nothing less if it were my Gabby or Gage in Lexi's place. Give Lexi lots of hugs and kisses from Gabby and Gage and all her friends here at YT.

We are continuing to pray for Lexi and you! Keep the faith....sounds like the medicines are helping. Glad you are able to spend some time with her...I bet it helps alot - even though it is very hard on you!

Magic and Sailor send lots of puppy kisses to Lexi......Little Lexi continue to rest and get strong!!!

Just checking in to see how Lexi is doing. I am praying for her recovery without surgery, but if it comes to that, then don't hesitate to go for it. These wee little furballs are fighters and can make it thru some pretty pretty tough ordeals even when the odds are stacked against them. Come on, Lexi, you can fight it. Show those ole' vets what kind of spunk you've got. Hugs to you baby girl, and Roxy sends lots of get well puppy kisses.

I don't think you are selfish - it's called LOVE. I would do the same for Sissy. We're keeping those prayers coming for a full and speedy recovery for little Lexi. Please give her a big kiss from us!!!

I am sorry to have to come here and ask for prayers but please pray for my Lexi. As some of you know she was in the hospital for 4 days and then she seemed to be doing a lot better. UPDATE, Lexi does seem to being feeling better today but, the black mass is going to have to be surgically removed. I spoke to a surgeon this afternoon and he will see her tomorrow and her surgery will be Tues morning. He is confident the incision will only be about an inch long and that she will not be in to muck pain after. (like I was originally told) After the surgery she will have to stay in the hospital till Fri or Sat on the IV antibiotic and then when she comes home she will take an oral antibiotic for 6 weeks.

I want to thank you all so much, and I am confident that your prayers helped my baby pull through this. Once she is healed up from surgery they are going to do another skin allergy test (this test totally sucks and it will be her 3rd one) She has also started a new shot that really seems to be helping with her itchies.

Again I thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and hugs and of course all the puppy kisses. Now to just get through surgery...

Tricia, I am so glad to hear you update.....it sounds like you have a great doctor and great surgeon helping Lexie! We will definately keep you guys in our prayers.

Can I send Lexie a blankie to use while she is recovering from surgery as a gift from Magic & Sailor? Just go to our website and pick whichever one you like and PM me and I will get it in the mail!!

I pray that Tues comes quick and that she is on the path to recovery quickly.... its so hard to watch out babies.. Its such a helpless position for us to be in! But Prayer does work!!!! And my prayers are with her and you right now!

I stopped and prayed here at my keyboard for her... and will again ask heavenly father tonight to watch over her as I pray with my husband before bed. I know how much your baby means to you... I too cling to mine....

Thank you for the update. Sounds like Lexi is in good medical hands. It is GREAT that you can go and spend time with her. Maybe by this time Tuesday she will be feeling a lot better. Hugs to you and Lexi :ghugH
