Does your Yorkie spin ? when he/she barks? Mine does. Remember when I wrote about when Mickey barks and spins when someone knocks at the door? well I now have it on video. lol My daughter came over and video taped it for me while I did the knocking at the door. Go here to see my spinning barking baby. http://www.dropshots.com/Deb You might want to turn your volume down or wear ear plugs cause theres a whole lot of barkin going on. lol what you see is really a side of a baby crib that I use to block off the hallway that leads to the back door.If I didnt have that up they would prob run out the door every time it was opened, I am always afraid they will get closed in the door, so we keep it blocked off. LOL! What little chatterboxes! That was way cute. Jack was a spinner when we got him as a 10-year-old rescue, and I thought it was so cute I taught Eddie how to do it. Now they both do it on command. |

Dawn...I made the same mistake. It's almost 6a.m. and I have headphones on and Topher heard it and went nuts!! lol shhhhhhhhh Anyway...yes, Topher spins. Mostly when either hubby or I come through the door. He spins and spins, but doesn't bark. It's so cute. I always wondered why he did that but it does seem to be a common trait for yorkies. He just seems to do it when he's really happy. |

It's the kennel spin---Yorkies who were kept in kennels often do this as they were unable to run around so they spun in their crates.... This doesn't mean they were in puppy mills, btw... |
Joey does this all the time too, but only barks just a couple of times. It's so funny because Joey's daughter Izzie, spins the oposite direction than her daddy.:) |

To Mickey's mom and spinning I jusst took a look at your little video of your cuties and when Bubba heard them barking he started barking and running all around too so yes to your question my yorkie spins and jumps and barks when the door bellrings -there is one advertisement on tv where the birds close the door on the man and ring the door bell and he runs into the door ! windex I think Bubba goes balistic everytime !!! shadows, reflections of himselfthe list goes on. it is crazy but funny !!bas1:animal36 |

How cute...and I watched the baby one too! They're all cuties! Maddie does the spin when she wants to go outside...she barks to get my attention and then when I'm heading for the door she'll spin and then just as I'm opening the door, she spins one more time. I think it's so cute! |

Debbie spins too, if she's waiting at the door when she sees me coming. She doesn't bark while doing it though. It's just a way of showing excitement. She has never been confined in a kennel either. She never barks at dogs in these videos or on TV either. I have to believe that she is too smart and knows they're not really here. |

I love the video. Your baby is so little and cute. Sophie spins when she thinks she is going bye bye. She spins so fast her hair fans out. It is very cute. I will try to get it on video so I can share it with you all.:) |
