Alphy digs into my bedding, my couch, and a pile of stuff on the floor. Like he's nesting and making a comfortable spot to curl up into. I think it's just an instinct. I've had other dogs that did this also. |
awhile back a read this behavior is a natural instinct. romeo digs too. he always digs b4 he lays down. no matter where he is. |
same with Buddy - I think it's super cute! Even if it doesn't move the blanket at all, it seems to make him feel better. It's so funny to see such strong instincts! |
its cute as (H) LOL shes doing it now and I have noticed that in her crate we got a blanket for large dogs so we could fold it in half for her so its extra fluffy and she loves it. I think it was 10 dollars at walgreens lol but she digs to scrunch it up and then lays down i love when she does it lol i was just wondering if other dogs do it |
Eddie is a big-time digger. He'll usually dive in on the pocket I have treats in, but I've seen him dig blankets and rugs. He also loves burying stuff in the yard. |
Jewels does the digging everytime she is going to lay down somewhere she digs there first |
Yup, Howie's a blanket digger too! :p When we're outside he never digs with his front paws, BUT everytime he goes potty he takes his back paws and kicks dirt or grass onto it. Does that count as digging??? It's really funny. I wish I knew how to take a video of it for you all. |
Daisy is an extreme digger. Always digs in dirt, mud, grass. clothes. my bed. ALL THE TIME.. no matter what.. to hidding her bone..or just plan being SILLY. Than Sissy copy cats.. I have nice holes in my sheets where they have manage to dig up((LOL)) |
