Old enough to sleep elsewhere ? Searched the site and didn't really find what I was looking for but here's my question. Max is 6 months old and he is my 10-yo son's dog. Milo is 3 months old and he belongs to my 7 yo daughter. Both dogs go all night - in their own crate - w/o having any accidents. At least 99% of the time. so now the kids would really like their dogs to sleep with them - in their beds. I think Max - the 6 month old could do it. I am a little more concerned about Milo. He is the adventerous one and I am not sure about the little one staying in the bed with my little girl. Just wondered what all your thoughts are on this subject. My husband and I would have them both in our bed if we thought they would settle down and not play all night - but the kids want their dogs with them...imagine that  Thanks for any opinions and advice |
Reasonable! I personally think that 3 months is too young for them to sleep with anyone. But 6 months and older I think thats any reasonable age for them to sleep with. :) |
Both the fur babies are a bit young in my opinion. Id think by the time the pups can grow to be more mature closer to a year and be fully potty trained it would be better. I have a fear that the pups might get rolled on, or pushed off the bed, OUCH!! Also, with not being fully potty trained the kids are not old enough to take the pups to their potty spots if need be, etc. Give it time....I think it will be worth the wait. :D |
I agree. I worried about them rolling over on them or not waking up if they needed to go potty...just wanted some opiinions. Thanks for the advice. |
