You enablers! So I finally figured out to get Gracie let me sleep through the night! Yep I finally gave up and put her in bed with us. I only hope hubby doesn't roll over on her some night! |
Mine stared sleeping in our bed when they were about 4 months old. Chachi wasnt a cryer in the xpen but Jewels was |

Both of mine slept in the bed from day one. Never had any accidents, either. They just woke me somehow when they needed to go out in the middle of the night as puppies and we'd go out and then back to bed. It has always worked out fine.:) |
Both of ours slept in our bed from day one. We tried the crate for about 30 minutes, but the crying definately got to us! Hobbs is now 1 year old and 3.5lbs and Hootie is 5 months and 2.5lbs and we've never rolled over on either of them, despite my hubby being convinced that he would one day. I think it is a combination of our instinct and the fact that these little ones get out of the way that prevents us from rolling over on them. If you DO happen to roll over on her, she will wiggle, you will feel it, and you will move. So, don't worry! Of the 11,000 members here, most of which let their yorkies sleep in bed with them, I've never heard of anyone injuring their yorkie by rolling over on it. |
Ginger’s been in the bed since day one. I just can’t stand the yelping when I try to have her sleep elsewhere. I’m not sure if that was a good idea though. She’s much bigger now but as a pup it could have been so easy to smoother her…and I can’t forget that post by another Yorkie Talker when her baby died in the blankets. That would just be horrible beyond belief. |
Mylo has been with me for almost two weeks and since day one he has slept in my bed...when he needs to pee in the middle of the night he'll cimb over me to let me know he has to go :D |
isnt it such a great feeling?? |
