lethargic pup? Annabelles pups will be 3 weeks tomorrow. They have all been doing great considering all that has been going on. Tonight though one of them seems to be real lethargic and unsteady. Her nose is wet, and she doesn't feel warm. Any idea what might be wrong? I know that there could be many things. I guess I am just worried. Anything I can do I will. |
pup There really isn't alot you can do. I would keep her warm, try a little sugar water, make sure she eats..good luck |
I dont know much about how to handle a pup only 3 weeks old. Im not sure if you can give the pup nutrical at that age. Maybe you should contact your vet and ask. Please keep us posted. Good luck. :aimeeyork |
Better The pup seemed to snap out of it about 3am. She started to eat and walk around, now she is playing with the others. Maybe she just did to muh yesterday and needed to catch up on her beauty sleep. |
I have noticed that Toto reacts to different circumstances ... weather, activity, surroundings, etc. She doesn't like change and will sometimes just nap, snuggle or act in some other uncharacteristic way ... perhaps it was just something like that. At any rate, I am thankful the pup is acting normal again!! Hope Annabelle is continuing to improve too! Much love from us to them! ;) |
Thanks I just got worried. I have had larger breed pups around at this age but they didn't seem as fragile. I think all of the stress with Belle has caught up and I over reacted. But that is ok it only shows my love for them :) |
Over reaction is a great trait in Yorkie Mom's!!! :) Much better than ignoring our little ones when they are "out of sorts". Besides, after what you've been through ... I would be shocked if you hadn't been worried! :) You are a good Mom! ;) |
Im so glad that the little one is much better. I hope that Annabelle is continuing to improve. Please keep us posted. I agreed with Bettyanne you are a great mom. :) |
