Just wanted to let everyone know......
 

I want to start off by saying i love reading this forum....i have learned ALOT from being here in this short time...............but to be totaly honest i hate to post and i am not being mean or anything but it seems like anything and most everything i post someone has something to jump me for, either you love your dog to much and keep him in a *bubble* lol or you dont love him enough.....and to be honest i give up......i love my baby and he is very well taken care of he is in no way nonsociable but thats another thread and another story i give up on trying to make ppl see that here.....this forum is spose to be about our babies and having fun rasing them, sharing stories with others.....everyone is different about rasing thier furbabies same with their skinbabies no two ppl are alike in that way and not to say any one person here is right or wrong including me lol we are all just different that dont make us bad parents to our yorkies or kids...........but i dont find it fun anymore i find alot of stuff just plane down right hurtfull to be honest about it, and i dont just mean post to me , i am talking about others also....i have read stuff that isnt even talking to me or about me in anyway and it hurts me for the person ppl are posting to.....so with that being said i want to say thank you to everyone who has talked to me *good or bad* and i will keep everyones babies in my prayers always....thanks agian and *hugs* to everyone.....I wish all your furbabies nothing but the best.

ShowBabyGirl -- I have looked at a lot of your posts - and it seems to me that you've been on YT for quite a while and have had a lot of fun posting and answering other people's posts.

I think forums such as this offer a lot more than just the chance to talk about our Yorkies and share experiences. A lot of difficult and controversial issue come up from time to time -- and for sure, many of us jump in and give our opinons -- about these different things.

My feeling is that I don't know anyone personally ------so if I disagree with anyone - it should never be taken personally. I just disagree occasionally with some opinions that are posted here. And don't think for a minute that I have received a lot of disagreement with some of my own ideas. And - as it should be - often I have had to sit back and rethink some of my own ideas and have been led to change my mind sometimes about some of my own thinking.

Truly - if I weren't allowed to say what I think (within reason), I wouldn't even want to be here. Most of the time (of course) -- I enjoy and totally agree with what everyone else says. And I love to hear the wonderful stories and experiences that all of us have with our Yorkies. But - it is stimulating occasionally to come across topics or opinions that cause differences of opinions. These are the times (if you are broadminded and willing to think things through) that you do become exposed to new thoughts and new ideas and really can learn something new.

**** I don't think disagreement (in itself) is meant to be unkind. It's just another person stating the way they feel. And - we all love to have our own opinions and tell them to the world --- this is human nature!

Having been on numerous forums for years - everything from this one to financial forums, economic forums, a very exciting vocal bird forum, and many others -- I can attest that this is one of the most benign and friendly forums that I have ever visited or been a part of.

I think whenever we visit any forum on the Internet and put our ideas out for the world to see --- we need to be prepared for an occasional disagreement. And - again, I think none of these are personal. People are just responding to whatever another person has said.....this is what forums are all about.

For the most part (99%) - YT is a wonderful place to visit, and we do share a lot of experiences and share a lot of information as well. But - occasionally some of us (myself included) do get a few people coming back at us who disagree with what we have said. This is okay. We need to be open to these responses - and often we can learn from them - I have.

Don't give up on YT -- I think most of us enjoy sharing our ideas - and by the same token - none of us agree with everything 100% of the time.

Keep posting - share ideas, be willing to learn, and have fun!!! And - definitely - don't take things personally!!!!!
