Iam new here ,i mean, i never posted anything before.But i have been reading your post's for a good while and learned a lot from all of you ,how to take good care of my little yorkie.Her name is Mystie joy,and she is 5 month's old.I had her since she was 8 weeks old and i love her so much.She is not a teacup size but will way up to 10 pounds when she is grown.I would like to show you a picture of her,but so far i haven't learned how to do that.I am also a member @4WT and enjoy it very much.There are so many sweet lady's on that forum ,just like on this one.Some of you are overthere too,i talked to you.My name @4WT is HANAU.I am looking forward to getting to know you .This is such a great site .Everything i have learned about yorkies i have learned right here on this forum .I never even bought a book ,i just listen to you and been helped a lot,So thank you for all the help i recieved from you all.

MyJoy -- Welcome.

My little Yorkie is one year old and weighs 10.1 pounds.

I wanted one that was a little smaller - but as he has grown, I have become totally happy with his size. In fact - I'm happier than if he had stayed smaller. We have hawks, etc., around here -- and I worry only a fracture as much as I would if he were a tiny little thing. Plus he can run around the house and get on and off all the furniture without my ever having to worry. But best of all he is a tough healthy little guy. He has never had a sick day in his life - and I'm sure his size has helped keep him healthy and injury-free.

PLUS -- the thing I have discovered is that a 10-pound little dog is still a very small little dog.

Hello and welcom to you and Mystie Joy!:p Yeah I too have learned so much on this site about caring for my babies. What is this 4WT site that you talk about? Oh and to post a picture...I do it this way. I put my pictures in "my documents" and then you can get them from there by going to the "manage attachments at the bottom of this page under "additional options"...after you click on "manage attachments" a thing will pop up with all your stuff on it and you may have to click on "my documents" and any pics that you have there will show up . You click on the one that you want and then click "upload" and ok. I think. Sorry I am not very good at explaining it but once you get it you will be all set. Good luck....I would LOVE to see pics of your little Mystie Joy!

Hi and welcome to YT I have a 2lb male tucker a 1.10 girl Diva a 4lb girl Chelsie a 5.5lb girl Sadie a 7lb girl Gabby a 3lb male Chester and a neutered male Snickers who My oldest son is claiming as his own. So I have 7 all together. 6 minus Snickers and 4 beautiful babies right now. 1 male 3 females Yes Chester is the man he likes to throw me girls.

help regarding a sale of yorkie
 

I was just wondering if there was anything I could do.
I bought a WONDERFUL yorkie about 1 yr 1/2 ago..I was told that
he would be a short body short yorkie under 4 pds..
I thought perfect. I would be able to travel with him to the store etc with no issue. I have a bad arm so it would be perfect..
Well ONCE i had him sent to me from Lousianna all the way to Chicago and we fell in love with him..he got bigger and bigger...he is now 7 pds and is tall and long body. He has out grew the bag we have for him. I have been disapptd but we love him and cant give him back.
Once we recd him he did seem a bit large ..I took him to the vet and the vet said this yorkie will be big about 6-8 pds. I was soo mad and told the breeder she said the vet was right...I asked her why she would sell him to us for the $1500 when she had the bigger yorkies we could have gotton for less..she says now there is nothing that she can do because yorkies that she sales one in 50 dont conform to the size she says..even though his parents are 4 pds and 2.9 pds...he just happened to be one of their big pups....I think we were cheated. She wont return any of my messages....
HELP..is there anything I can do. Or do I take it as a loss...!!

hi darbie,i don't know what you can do,it has been a long time since you got your baby.But look at it from another point of view,YOU LOVE HIM,isn't that what you wanted when you send of for the "little dog"He can't help it that he is bigger than a tiny yorkie ,but he really isn't a BIG dog.A 6-8 pound dog is still a very small dog.But i bet that he gives you lots of love and after all ,isn't that why we get our little furbaby's.We want them to love us and give our love to them.If you have that ,then it wasn't a loss,but a gain.I am so sorry about your problems with your arm,but you managed all this time ,can't you keep it up this way?Just think ,if that lady would say ,give him back and get your money back.Could you give him up?Or would you rather keep your "little 'furbaby?If it was me,i could'n give him up,that would really be a loss i couldn't live with.By the way ,my little mysty joy is about the same size as yours ,but to me she is still a tiny little dog with a big heart to love me with.I hope this helped you to just look at the situation from a diffrent point of you .God bless you.
