How accurate is the Puppy Growth Chart...pls respond. Doing my own little survey here...... In looking at the puppy growth chart...like YorkiePassion has on her web sight....tell me how accurate the weight is of your puppy at 1 year, 18 months......whatever you have record of to what the chart says. Hope that makes sense.....:D Thanks, Shirley |
I asked this exact same question before, if you want to search my posts and read the responses I got. Since obviously the chart is just a rule of thumb, there were people whose dogs ended up being smaller than indicated on the chart, and people whose dogs ended up being bigger, etc... ....but the general consensus was that adding about a lb. to the ultimate weight made the chart more accurate for most of us. Hope this helps! |
Maybe my search needs tweeking.... Thanks so much......I tried a couple of different searches.....and did not have any luck... Thanks so much for the heads up. :):) Shirley |
ok....so I had a brain freeze....LOL Ok, everyone can disregard this post......as dahhhhhh crazy me....cannot spell......and dahhhhhhhh I cannot read either...LOL I found a few references to this exact post.....dahhhhhh I think I have been traveling way to much...... A lady told me her 8 wk old was 1.47 lbs, and I needed to see if I could figure it out.....thankfully YorkiePassion could help me..........kinda....at least give me a general idea......Thanks YP. Is it kinda like the "draino" test with preg humans.......you have a 50% chance of getting it right...... |
