White on chest
 
My girl Sissy (aka Rosie) has a white strip on her chest. Does anyone esle's? :rolleyes:

I would take a picture to show,but my software needs to be loaded again. I did a complete restore on my puter :computer: and still haven't reloaded everything. :coffee_n_

Piccolo had a wide strip of white but it's slowly changing to tan

The smallest boy in my 8/19 litter has a white strip on his chest also.

I've heard this to be a desirable trait and it will mean a really nice adult coat (silky and good color and thick)

My Charlie had a white blaze on his chest, it is turning to gold. He is 9 1/2 mos. old.

That is also what I read. My two oldest Yorkies who are actually both Young had very vibrant white ... Our Youngest has some but not as much as the other two

I have heard of Yorkies having some white on them, They change as they get older. My little Mickey use to have white right under his lip as he got older it turned.

My Chelsey has a white stripe on her chest, i thought they were not supose to have any white on the chest :confused: My Chanel has an all white chest, but she's very blond.

I'll attach a pic to show you.

Timmy has white on his chest and a little white spot on his chin which I absolutely LOVE. Mimi has white on her chest too but she is really light.

Bailey has the same thing, a white stripe down his chest,and on his chin. He is 2 and it has not changed at all. And he does have a very nice silky coat.

My Lexi has a white chin, chest and tipped paws. She was two in June. No signs of it changing color (yet).

the white marks depects quantity of coat, not the quality of coat.

The white blaze will usually fade and blend into the adult coat as they mature.

opps just found this thread! and oddly enough i only just found a little white star on Dixie's chest when i gave her a hair cut recently! it's cute! She's two now so i hope it doesn't fade. It's like this little hidden spot of sweetness on my evil lil gal.

You have all made my day I didn't know this post was here, and I have just asked the same question, my little Teddy who is 9 weeks today has some white on his chest, only a small amount, I have had two other Yorkies and they never had any, so I was a little concerned, now I feel BLESSED thank you. :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork
