Tearing apart pee pad? 3 Attachment(s) I went out this morning to watch some football games with friends and I came home to a shredded pee pad. Has anyone else had this happened? I had to admit it made me laugh when I saw it. I'm pretty sure Bernie was the culprit, so that's the picture of him saying "I didn't do it." lol |
LOL He sure does look guilty! I don't use the paper pee pads for this reason. I use the cloth ones. You can either buy them in a drug store or if you know someone that works in a hospital maybe they could get you one....or two. |
i used pee pads for a day, the first day i got morgan. i left her alone for a half hour, came home to a shreaded pad. never gave her one again, and started taking her outside more often. now she is strictly trained to go outside. |
Have you tried the pee pad holders? He sure did do a number on that pee pad!!! |
We're working on going outside... Bernie will, no problem, but Kona would much rather be inside... plus we live in the mountains so it gets really cold at night and in the winter time. So we figured it was easier to use the pads. We've never had this problem before...we've had Bernie since early July. Oh well, if it happens again I'll probably try to figure something else out. |
It looks like the pup got mad coz you left him alone LOL... Mine does it very rarely, but still, when I put him into the xpen and he REALLY REALLY wants to be out, he starts growling and running madly with the pee pad. Very funny... can't be mad at those faces, can we? :D |

But no, there is no way to be mad at faces like that. |
Yep....we have been there! We ordered the washable pee pads from www.piddlepads.com.....we ordered a dozen over 15 months ago and it was a great investment!!! |
Cookie would tear hers apart too everyday (in her pen when we left her while at work) and we solved that problem with buying a holder for the pad and it solved the problem.. |
I had a similar problem, never quite did a # like that. http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...pad+holder&N=2 Best 15.00 I spent. They have them right where they sell the pads. Run out and get one. DMA |
Have to agree the holder seems to take the fun out of it for them.:) |
LOL too funny....thank goodness I have never had that problem BUT I would rather have pee pads shreeded than anything else in my house. Mimi is famous for chewing everything!!!!! I can't leave anything laying around because she eats it...lol My son has been through several game controllers and now she ate the power cord to his game cube. I'm not buying him another because I kept telling him to put his stuff in his room. Its like they get bored and don't know what to do. |
They both tore up the pads and the holder did not help either! So we go outside! |
I am going to get the cloth ones because not only does Bear tear them up the cats like to play with them.....:) |
;) No... you're the first to have that happen....!!!!:lol tears :lol tears Welcome to the world of puppies!!! |
