My little girl wakes up crying My delightful little Matilda Rose (Tildy) is a year and a half old. She and my male Yorky sleep with me. This morning she woke me with the most pathetic crying. She has done this twice before but each time the duration is longer. She probably only cried for a minute but of course it seemed much longer. This has only happened when she has been sleeping. She does not seem to be in pain. She just sits and her little head is raised, eyes open, and cries. I thought she may be having a horrible dream so I pet and talk to her hoping to wake her if that's the case. I don't know what is causing this. Has anyone else had this problem. What is going on and what should I be doing? Please any advise. This is just ripping me up. I love her so much. I wish she could tell me what is wrong. Her vet says she is in great shape. |
Is she sounding very sad and crying? Or just tearing up with eye boogers or something like that? Could it be that she is hungry or thirsty when she wakes up? I hope you find some answers. :) |
More on Tildy My little Tildy does not have tears when she wakes up crying. She acts like she is stuck in a bad dream and can't wake out if it. Her cries are pathetic. She does sit up and her eyes are open but it's like she is not able to register that I am there and she is ok. She looks at me and continues to cry as if her little heart is broken. When the crying does stop, she seems perfectly normal as if nothing ever happened, and is happy to see me. Do you think it could be some kind of seizure? I pray not! I hope I can find an answer soon. |
Sometimes my girls will do this as well but, they ae usually sleeping and whimpering...I believe that they are dreaming..I will usually pick them up and hold them and tell them it is ok...I know what you mean though,...they really do sound so pitiful. |
