Is there anything better than CM? Wow, whoever said Yorkies are single coated might be worng about my boy..Is it even possible?? His black puppy coat (well, leftovers of it after the groomers) is easier to comb through than that whitish/silverish fluffy and very fine (think Baby Hair) puff underneath. CM goes on greasy and comes off but mats stay, no matter what (it's ok on thicker hair though). Is there anything that would coat around the hair and leave silky residue? (can't better explain it, but it looks that would be the only thing to help untangle that terrible coat of my pup's...). |
I'm not crazy about the greasy feel either, but I've never found anything that worked so well on matts for cotton coats. I don't use it on my silk coats. It does appear to absorb in and not look greasy with my cotton coat, but her hair is very thick, dull and dry looking and probably needs it. The texture and matts in her hair seem to be getting better and better with its use. Don't know if it's the product or she is just growing up. I found Cowboy Magic when she was 4 months and she is just now 9 months. |
It does work like magic. I find if I dilute it and spray that on itts not so greasy, but for bad matts I use full strength and wash her theh next day. |
