One floppy ear. My yorkie ears were erect since i had her. i was at work and my husband called and said my daughter had pulled her ear and its now flopping. its been like this for almost a week now. did her pulling it has something to do with it flopping. will it ever stand back up? any one know, please let me know. |
Poor baby! I have no answer but have you tried making a quick call to your vet? Good luck! |
I have no idea if your daughter pulling on the ear could make it floppy. You may want to ask your vet that one and have them look at it to see if there is any damage. Sometimes yorkies ears get floppy because they need the hair trimmed off of them. Have you ever trimmed its ears? |
Depending her age, if she is teething her ears might go down. |
Teething or long hair around the ears can cause them to be floppy, but if you think her ear might have been injured, I would check with the vet. Does it bother her if you touch her ear? I hope she's okay! |
no it doesn't bother her when i touch it. i haven't had them trimmed either |
Trim the ear, and check to see if she is teething, that can cause them to flop..otherwise, I would consult your vet to make sure there was no nerve damage from the pulling. |
