[News] Man Kicks Parents Yorkie to Death I'd disown that son, seriously... I don't care how drunk he was, there's just no excuse for that. --- A MAN from north Solihull who kicked his parents' pet dog to death was jailed this week. Birmingham magistrates on Monday handed out a three-month sentence to unemployed Dean Robert Brayson, 24, of Fillingham Close, Chelmsley Wood, and banned him from owning animals for ten years. When the case was adjourned for reports last month, Brayson admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a Yorkshire Terrier. He was remanded on bail for sentence --and warned that a jail sentence had not been ruled out. Brayson was said to have kicked pet dog Pip with such force that a vet said its injuries were consistent with it being run over by a car. Nick Sutton, prosecuting on behalf of the RSPCA, said it was one of the worst cases of animal cruelty that the charity had dealt with. Brayson had been living with his stepfather and mother, William and Annette Wareham, who had owned the dog for almost five years. The retired couple returned home just after midnight on April 17 to find the dog dead in its basket. Mr Sutton said the animal had been kicked repeatedly, breaking four of its ribs and causing fragments to puncture its lungs. Internal bleeding resulted in the dog being unable to bleed. A vet who examined Pip said the animal could have remained alive for hours in pain and distress. Brayson told last month's hearing he was "quite drunk" and did not know his own strength after the "nasty little dog" bit him on the hand. Allerton Bryce, defending Brayson, told magistrates on Monday that the offence was "out of character." He added: "Clearly something occurred, whether a bite or nip on the hand, that caused him to lose his temper." http://icsolihull.icnetwork.co.uk/ne...name_page.html |
It sickens me when I hear of things like that. At least he has gotten some kind of punishment over there. Here in the states, he probably would just be on probation. Every time I read about someone being mean to any animal, I just would love to do the same thing to them  |
I am sorry but I have no concern for anybody who abuses an animal. Especially this man. Id like to kick him!! Id like to kick him a lot in fact!! Oh those poor parents coming home to find their baby dead. Yep, id disown that adult child for sure. Never a good enough excuse ever!!!! What goes around comes around. He will have his day for what he did! |
I agree with schatzie, what goes around comes around. Sad for the owners. At least Pip is in heaven and won't have to be around that looser..................Cindy |
 That adsolutely sickens me! I feel so sorry for the parents ... first, that something so horrible could happen to one so defenseless ... second, that they have this adult, deadbeat monster living in their home!! Yep! I would like to give him a "dose" of his own medicine!! |
That is sooooooooo sad : ( That man shouldn't be allowed to be around pets and children for life because if he is so heartless to beat-up a little dog than I can't imagine what he'd do to a child. |
He better be glad he wasnt my son id of hurt him. We have a friend she is an older woman and had to go in the hospital then nursing home to recourabe(sp) while she was gone her kids and hubby gave all her yorkies away she was a breeder . They did keep two for her. I told my daughter if i ever have to do that , when i get home my dogs better be here. Both is so sadddd. When our son comes over and gripes about my dogs i remind him he dont live here they do, and if he dont like it go home. |
:) I have the following, with Toto's picture at the top, framed and prominently displayed in our home!! I copied it from someplace, I don't remember where! But it pretty much sums up the way we feel about it! ;) Notice to people who visit my home 1. The dog lives here...you don't. 2. If you don't want dog hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. 3. Yes, she has some disgusting habits. So do I and so do you. What's your point? 4. OF COURSE she smells like a dog. 5. It's her nature to try to sniff your crotch. Please feel free to sniff hers. 6. I like her a lot better than I like most people. 7. To you she's a dog. To me she's an adopted daughter, who is short, hairy, walks on all fours, doesn't speak clearly, and hates cats. I have no problem with any of these things. 8. Dogs are better than kids: they eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug using friends, don't smoke or drink, don't worry about whether they have the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes and don't need a gazillion dollars for college. |
HAAAAAAA! I love that list! I'm saving it : D |
Take on someone his own size What a loser kicking a little baby like that. I hope they treat this bastard well in prison....really really well  |
I think it is horrible to and it make me sick how people hurt animal so much. I like the poem it is so cute!!!! |
