Uh-oh! Teddy's been sleeping with Mom all night! Well, I told myself I wasn't going to do this ... I wanted Teddy to get used to the crate, and he has. I usually cuddle him for a while before bed and put him in his crate when he's all limp and tired and then he'll generally wake me up one or two times in the middle of the night. Well, I wanted to catch up on sleep so I kept him in bed with me all night the past two nights and he sleeps like a little baby! He knows how to hold it (he's 4 months old and has never once had an accident on a bed or the couch) and he's so warm and cute and little! I love having him sleep with me, or us (me and Curt), but is this bad parenting? Will I regret this later on if I keep letting him share the bed?:aimeeyork |
At first i too wanted my gracie to sleep in her crate but after about a month of her not getting used to it she now sleeps with me and im glad she does! no regrets! |
That is too cute:D What is there to regret? I can see not letting human kids sleep with you because you don't want them to 18 trying to sleep with Mom and Dad, but doggies are different. As long as he doesn't have accidents I wouldn't worry about it:D I sleep much better with Georgie in the bed with me;) |
Cooper has slept with me since the beginning, and now so does Carley. I feel like a Yorkie sandwich now though, because I have one on each side pressed as close as they possibly can be. My husband has been out of town since Carley came along, I'm not sure where he will sleep:p If you enjoyed it these last two nights and he slept well with no accidents, I wouldn't give it another thought. |
Both my poodle and cat sleep with us..........I honestly cannot sleep if they are not there. |
I think they belong in our beds once they are trained!!! |
My bunny has slept with me ever sents I got her... but bella, she tents to not wake us up to say I have to go potty yet, so untill she dose...my hubby said she HAS to sleep in her crate :( he dose not want to roll over on poo |
I had a steadfast rule when we got Punkin - she was not allowed on the furniture or in bed with us. That did not last long. She is allowed anywhere she wants and sleeps with us every night. If she doesn't crawl in with us we go looking for her, casue we miss her. Guess she won me over in a big way.:D |

Oliver sleeps with us every night, and I wouldn't have it any other way. He loves to cuddle! :dogzzz: |
... make that 3 nights in a row ... :) Teddy slept with me again last night, and I feel encouraged by your comments. He's such a little darling and is so much happier sleeping beside Mom and Dad.:aimeeyork :) |

Gus has slept with us every night since he was about 8 /12 weeks old! He has never ever had an accident. When he was tiny he would wake us up on seldom occassions to go potty, but now that he is 4 /12 months old and has doggy stairs, he just lets him self down if he has to go. I can't sleep now without him...he is my little heater and cuddle-bug!!! |
Jake sleeps with my hubby and me, but he is also good about sleeping in his bed. He just likes to cuddle with us.:) |
