To those with multiple yorkies ????? I was just wondering how you guys with 4 and 5 little ones take them for walks. I have bought one of those cuppler things for my two, but it is very difficult to pick them both up in a hurry if some big dog comes at us. Because of this lately I have taken them out seperately. How do you guys do it? |
i bought one also i find it to be harder to do anything the poor other dog gets dragged the other way it doesnt work well i rather use seperate leashes |
I had a leash with a coupler too for my 2 little dogs and loved it! I wouldn't know how to walk more than 2 at a time though. |
maybe you could get seperate leashes and inlist a freind or neighbor to walk with you to help out? |
I bought a coupler and then made one. With my four, all I can handle is two leashes. I put the two smaller babies together and the two larger together. They've never pulled each other around and it works great. Since we live in the country and there are strays and coydogs around I only walk them around our yard. We have an acre so it works pretty good. If I take them down the road, either my son or husband goes with me so if I need to grab them up, I have extra arms. :) |

I use a doggie stroller and they love it. I can fit 4 in it comfortably. The net covering comes over the front of it so they can't jump out, although they've never tried to jump. We have a big backyard and they use the doggie door to go outside whenever they want to, so they do get plenty of excersize. |
I just bought a coupler and 2 more harness vests and am hoping also to get them in time to walk together. However Sahara has a lot of growing up to do before I think it will work though. Hope it does! |
