Omg!! Peeka is so smart i just taught him roll over he got it on the third try :cheer: :cheer: so he can now sit, lay down roll over stay and come YAY :cheer: i'm so happy he is such a good little baby i'm so excited!!!!!!!!! He loves his little treats but i give him a lot hope it's ok but it's worth it he's doing do good!!!!!! YAYAY:D :cheer: :yay_jump: :yay_jump: |

That's great! Maybe you could come over and help me train my poodle..........hehe (she has never rolled over for me), but she does do many other tricks |
:congrats: :congrats: :congrats: how do you teach them to do tricks? i can get whiskey to sit and stay only if i give her a treat but i just taught her that so she wouldn't be jumping up on everybody-i'm scared she'll get arthritis or something when she's older if she stands up too much on her hind legs. i've never had a yorkie before and after reading all that stuff about hip and knees going bad i worry. how do you make them roll over and play dead and shake hands and stuff???:) |
WAY TO GO PEEKA !! :good job: :good job: :good job: I think it's so cute when they do little tricks - and Peeka is so young - that's really great he's such a fast learner. When I taught Chanel to smile it took about 4 days and she learned to sit in about 10 minutes - but I never tried more tricks (except Kissing which she is a MASTER at) :) .....I think if your yorkie has great eye contact it's much easier to teach them - Cheri doesn't have the intense Eye Contact that her sister has and I've had a harder time teaching her to sit etc..... Well at first i told Peeka to sit and then down and i rolled him over and said roll over i did this 3 times and thought this is never gonna work but then the 4th time i didn't roll him he was looking at the treat so i went behind his head and he rolled on his own!!! I dang near Peed my pants and i got so excited he did to he was running all over the house like he was on crack it was hillarious! I'm gonna do these for a week and then i wanna try the play dead (but it looks really hard) |

I bought a web cam but i can't figure out how to get the video on anywhere it says it's to big for you tube i'm going crazy!!!!!! I also cant get the mic to work either. I am pretty smart with this stuff but it's got me boggled i'll keep trying to do it if any one has any suggestions please help! |
