TeddyBear | 09-08-2006 05:40 PM | Moody Shylah I have 3 dogs, a 8 year old beagle, haggis, 19 month old yorkie, Starsky and a 5 month old yorkie, Shylah!
Okay at feeding time here they all have separate foods. Haggis practically snarfs his food down in like 5 minutes! Starsky just waits until everyone is done before he starts, he guards his food and Shylah has to have a little bit of everybody's food and then she'll eat hers. She nibbles and just guards it while Haggis just waits until she is done so he can snarf it up. I try to take it away before he can get to it. Lately, Shylah growls and attacks Haggis anytime he is around her food, even within 3 feet sometimes. She lets Starsky get to her food but not Haggis. Why is that?? During playtime, she loves Haggis (she does pick on him by biting his tail, Starsky will do this too) but she is constantly kissing his mouth and hanging on his lip. Why is she so agitated when he is around his food and not with Starsky.
She has been moody tonight, very timid, not coming to me and growling at my daughter. She can't be going into heat at 5 months can she? Or is this just a female thing? |
