At 10 weeks Pepper weighed in 1.65 lbs, the last appointment 2 weeks ago showed 2.05. He's going for his last shot Saturday and I'm really curious, they have a digital scale and it looks pretty accurate. He really looks bigger and bigger every day, little piggy :D . At least now I'm not afraid to get on the floor and play rough now ;) As for the in home weighing, I remember someone saying you should weigh yourself on a bathroom scale and then again, holding the dog. They wouldn't wiggle and you get a precise amount (I think, I'll try after he gets weighed at the vet's) |

My Lexie baby is 5 months and weighs 7.2 lbs, she is gonna be a big girl. Her mom, dad and brother were over the other day and she is twice as big as her mom and brother and about the same size as her dad. Her mom (Ella) kept her in line though. It was so funny watching them. My son had her over at her mom's house and said Lexie and Beckham (her brother) were sleeping and Ella was cleaning their ears. :p |
I got a food scale with a bowl on it at Walmart for like $8.00 and it will hold up to 10 lbs. I think peeka was about that at 10 weeks to he is 17 weeks right now and just hit 3 lbs and that was on a full belly i hate when the vet weighs him they are alway wrong i would get your own scale good luck! |
I have some average to large pups.....Sammy is 3 1/2 yrs @ 11 pounds, Sophia (Sophie) comes in @ 8 pounds and their baby Isis is 4 1/2 months and is 6 1/2 pounds. Isis looks just like her mom and I don't think she will be any bigger...... |
Snickers was 3 lbs at 12 weeks, and matured at 8lbs. Baxter was 4 lbs at 12 weeks, and matured at 11 lbs. They both look like peanuts when they're outdoors, though. They aren't fat, just solid muscle. :animal36 |
Harley is over a year old and weighs about 7 1/2 pounds, Haley was a year last month and she weighs 4 lbs. |

snickers was 2lbs 2oz at 10wks - 3lbs at 12wks and 4lbs at 14wks.... and she is almost 10months now and weighing in at 7lbs 2oz per the vet yesterday :) i am guessing she is done growing now... |
Sahara is 4 moths the 12th of September and she was weighed yesterday at 1.8! She has gained 5 ounces in the last 3 weeks! Yes!!!!! |
Hailee is almost 6 mos and weighs 2lbs 8ozs. She is starting to really grow now! I think she will be about 4lbs. I don't know if I could handle having one much smaller. She thinks she's a great dane though..:D |

Max was 2 pounds at 8 weeks. The place I got him at told me he would weigh 4 pounds fully grown and was a "teacup."I knew that wasn't going to happen when he weighed in at 4.5 pounds at 4 months. He'll be 5 months old on the 16th and I just weighed him by holding him on my scale and then putting him down and deducting - He's about 5.5 pounds. He's a standard - you can tell by his long legs and long body which are now nicely filling in. (I wasn't going to buy at a pet store - I was going to find a reputable breeder, check out the parents, try and get one that was housebroken already, etc., etc. - but then I went into a pet store just to hold a yorkie since I had never really connected with one before. Of course, I immediately fell madly in love with him and he was living with me within an hour. Thank God he's healthy, because I'm fairly sure that he's from a puppy mill). Abbie is 16 weeks old and she is 6.5 lbs, she is a big girl! Gracie on the other hand is 22 months old and wieghs 7 lbs at 16 weeks she was only 3lbs. |

Today I saw Dr. B. Dr. B. put me on the baby scale. It said I weigh 3 lbs.! Wow, I was 2 lbs. 3 oz. three weeks ago. I do love to eat, though mom worries that I don't eat enough. I guess this proves her wrong! Yes mommy, I am sneaking the kibble and eating it. I just don't want you to know that I like it because I like that yummy wet food much better. |
