Cute quirks! Does yours do this?
 

There are several really cute things that my boys do and I wanted to see if any of your babies do them....

Otis makes "sleepy sounds" if I pick him up when he's sleeping, and sometimes if I'm petting him. Cute little whimpers.

My shih-poo always has a toy in his mouth. He even sleeps with it under his chin. When I come home from work, he rushes over to me, and then runs back to pick up a toy. People often think he wants to play fetch, but he just wants to have it in his mouth. It seems he can't come to me without a toy in his mouth. Does anyone have a theory on why he does this. He doesn't want me to have it, he just wants it in his mouth. He does not discriminate between toys. There are five or six different kinds, shapes and sizes and he'll carry any of them around. It's usually just the closest one to him.

If I have burnt something on the stove. Otis runs and hides. Strong smells really bother him. He runs to his bedroom. Also, if I have a bunch of people over to my house, He's very social for awhile but soon tires of the noise and people and goes to his room.

I am curious about the toy thing with my shih-tzu. Anyone have any ideas? do your babies do cute things like this too?

It sounds like that toy is like a security blanket for him. Debbie is like that with people too. At first she is very friendly when we go out but after a while I think they get on her nerves and she might become a little snappy.

My toy poodle, Melody, snores and she also makes a loud noise, kind of a sneezing sound when I tell her NO! It's like she gets mad and does that and hides underneath her paws.

My cat loves water. He creeps into the tub and sits there for a bath. Somedays, I shut the door so that he doesn't sneak in.....lol (usually when I am in a rush and don't have time to groom him). My vet says that is such a strange behavior and that he doesn't have a clue how he picked it up.

Oh, and yes each one has their own 'blanky'. They love to snuggle under it especially when it is newly washed and warm out of the drier.......lol

Layla makes noises when she sleeps too.. especially if i move her.. little whimpers like... mom.. don't wake me! and when we go for a walk.. she ALWAYS has to have a stick in her mouth.. she looks so cute trotting down the street... stick in mouth!

my little Tony makes the cuttest noises in the morning when I wake him up. I call them his "mommy noises" because he doesn't make them for my boyfriend. :D
another of his quirks is that it takes him like 15 minutes to get his bed just right before he lays down to sleep, no matter what :rolleyes:
i love these things about him and everytime he does them it warms my heart and I am so greatful to have him!:aimeeyork

Rocky also makes sleeping sounds, like a little baby! I love them, it melts my heart :)

LOL Kodi has his Balls in his mouth all the time. Yes Two balls lil yorkies size ones. (in picture) he don't like to share. He loves you to throw both or he will go lay down with them. Daisy makes the sleepy noises. she will roll overand do this little moan. when it's bed time.

Awww... Bella does the sleepy noises too!

She gets that little whine going when I have to pick her up to put her in her crate for the night... Or if she's sleeping on my lap and I have to get up and get something, she whimpers real cute. :p
