Work and YT!
 
How many of you out there spend way to much time on YT at work and could totally get in trouble for it??? I'm one! I way too addicted. I've been on all day! ;)

Another guilty one here.:D I work for the city so my boss is the mayor. I heard he fired someone last year because he visited a city office and the man had solitaire on his computer screen!! So of course I have to be careful, but the mayor has yet to visit us and I keep my screen minimized to a tiny square so I can close it quickly if someone should happen by.;)

This is the mayor -- you're fired! LOL.

What I used to hate about checking YT from work was the giant YORKIETALK banner that shows up when you open a page. People would walk past my workstation and shout "YORKIETALK!" And half the office would look.

Obviously, that didn't stop me. If you're desperate to follow a thread, you can click on the all-text view. All the forum categories are there without the giant YORKIETALK. Just click on the highest number next to the category to see the current posts. Unfortunately, you can't see pictures. Here's a direct link.

:lol tears :lol tears Oh, Eddie's dad, you have me in stitches!! I know exactly what you mean about the YT banner. I have to keep my finger on the scroll down button and scroll really fast so no one sees it.:D

I know!!! The big ole banner! :) I'm lucky enough to sit with the wall to my back and so no one can see my computer. If someone walks over to me then I just minimize it real quick :) I'm hooked!

I just have more time to be on it at work, than at home. Ha ha - how wrong is that! Or should I say I make more time at work!:D

i know what you mean, that YORKIE TALK banner is a killer... im on her
5 days a week for 8 1/2 hrs a day....just look at see how much i gab here,
almost 5000.....now thats alot huh???

*A-hem* I'm here to be counted among those who are on YT while at work. Yes, I have an addiction to this place (of course, you couldn't tell it from my number of posts compared to my join date :p). Of course, I'm all "caught up" on my work and trying to "kill time" before time to go so I'm giving the appearance that I'm working by trying to do lots of typing on YT!!! Okay, headed to more posts to read and reply - come on quitting time!!!!!

I must say that at the beginning I was on at all times, but I have tired to get on during lunch unless I could sneak and check. I understand you completely

LOL I too am addicted! And I try to restrict my surfing to lunch time, and morning and afternoon tea.

I work for the government in NZ. We have a little thing called the official information act - it means anyone can ask for information about any government department. This also includes our internet usage!!

We recently got a request for our internet usage which included how much we all went on Trade me (the kiwi equivalent of EBay). I was really really thankful they didn't ask about Yorkie talk!! LOL.

Oh, I am totally addicted. A lot of days I don't have much to do at work and I sit in an area by myself and have no one to talk to so I go on Yorkie Talk!! Some days it's my only form of human interaction! I'm not sure what I would do without it at work. So, HOORAY FOR YORKIE TALK!!! :D :D :D
