My parents use to raise Peekapoos. We ended up with one that was 1lb 4oz. We were not breeding for that size at all. We actually had 2 born that were runts of the litter and had to be hand fed because they could not nurse for the 1st week or so of life. The one died in a couple of days but the one that survived had 3 sets of teeth. It seemed to be a bit mentally handicapped. It was cute as a button. Wind up her tail and she would run around like a toy mechanical dog. We all loved her very much. She lived ot be 8yrs old. She died not of being sick but being sat on by my ex-brother inlaw that hated her from the get go. We lost 2 of our dogs that way. Somehow they ended up under the sofa cushion. I would not breed a dog to be that size. Runts are of poor health. But it is nice that when they are born someone loves them. I hope it gets a good and loving home. We would never sale the runts because of knowing they would not be healthy. Susan |
What really gets me is the description that they lady wrote about the poor thing. She said that she paid "an arm and a leg for her" but later in the article she said that she came from her moms yorkie. So why would her mom charge her that much money for her. Second of all if her mom breeds yorkies shouldnt she know that a dog this small is in danger of small children. She said that people refer to her as a teaspoon???? OMG! This lady is completely trying to scam somebody out there. She said how cute she looks in a purse. She put her in a tiny Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag and she got the whole stores attention at Petsmart. She goes on to say that she can pick her up with only one hand. Well I can pick up my 4lb dog with one hand!!! She is just stressing the point of this dogs poor weight to care about her. She just wants to get top dollar from somebody. Also I thought the 15% discount part was really funny too! I wish I had the money for this poor thing, just to make sure that she got the love and attention that she needs! |
I e-mailed her and said why are you charging so much, that mine only weighs 2.11 ounces and I only paid $800 for her, and she told me 2.11 is much bigger than 1.7 pounds, and in these little dogs size makes all the difference. Can you believe her  So, basically she's saying the smaller the more money:thumbdown |

My Rocky is over 5lbs and I can pick him up w/ one hand (I have very small hands) and fit him in my purse!!! I hope no one is stupid enough to buy this pup. |

Wowzers!!! Quote:
And how did they get under the couch cushions anyway?? I've never seen dogs do that. My Zoie "buries" her bones in between the cushions on my leather sofas! It's funny because the cushions aren't really separated, they are just sewn to look like it and she thinks her bone is really buried. |

that is sad and outrageous |
Ok i wanna say something the pictures she has up have been altered in a photo shop or paint shop because i tried to copy the pic to my puter to get a closer look at the eyes because they look so weird and when i went to save it i noticed it was a bitmap file so there is definently something weird going on with this dog the eyes are not normal this is weird!!! |
The hair that is between the eyes on the forhead has been photoshopped in and also the eyes have been altered it\'s plain as day once you can get a closer look at the pick there is something deffinently wrong with the puppy why would you add hair and mess with the eyes in fact there are a lot of changes to the dog a lot of the hair all over has been messed with this is crazy!!!!! |
I agree with you, I just took the pic to paint shop pro, zoomed in and you can tell which hairs were "added" they are very pixeled..and the eyes look funny..... very weird.... |
