Gucci Update I am a little concerned, Gucci hasn't been herself since she is home, I posted that I have to force her to eat, in which she ate a little more yesterday. she doesn't have any interest. She is not herself and I do understand that she had a major surgery but she is not active during the day she is a little better but at night she just lays there. The doctor called me while I was driving and yesterday I couldn't really understand him it was a bad connection and I was on my way to appt. I have been really busy with work. He said that her biopsy came back with some sort of dysplasia, which he expected with her sickness. I called the hospital last night and the tech told me to keep an eye on her during the night. So of course I didn't sleep well. I called the surgeon and hoping that he returns my call this morning... Guys please keep those prayers coming, I don't know if this is normal behavior being she had the operation.on Thurs. Is there anyone who had this similar operation or any other surgery and their dog acted this way? I am sick to my stomach this morning. Gucci went through the surgery and critical period just great now I am scared... Please any input is appreciated .. Gina |
Hope all turns out well Don't have any advice, just wanted to let you know You and Gucci are in my prayers... Hope she'll get well soon |
I don't have any experience with this either but wanted to tell you I will keep you in my prayers! :ghug: I hope all turns out well for you and Gucci! |
Sorry, no advice here either. :( I just hope the surgeon calls back this morning. Could you maybe call THEM back? You know how those drs are...busy busy busy. Big hugs to you and Gucci. :big_hug: :justahug: :ghug: :bighug: Get Well Soon, little girl! :getwell: I'll continue to keep you in my prayers. :hands: |
Gina, I'm so sorry You little girl isn't feeling well. I know some people take longer to recover than others and she did have a very major surgery. You mentioned dysplasia. I thought that had to do with hip joints. I pray she is just recovering a little slower and that nothing is wrong. Keep us updated. Hugs and prayers for you and Gucci. |
I will keep Gucci and you in my prayers. when Cali had her surgery for spaying, biopsies for liver shunt etc she was not herself for a good 7 days. All she wanted to do was lay by me. Gucci's surgey was much more serious so hopefully it is normal recovery. Poor baby has been through so much. Is she on any meds that may be making her tired and loss of appetite. I would call the vet back. I feel thatwe spend so much money and worry on these babies that I don't worry about bothering the vet. They are busy and sometimes it's easier to call them than wait for them to call. Keep us posted and give Gucci kisses. |
