Ohhh Rain!!!!!!! It has been raining out the past couple days and Lillie will NOT go potty out in the rain :rain: She will touch the grass and go running for the house! So now she has been pottying on the kitchen floor, she will potty on her pee pad in her pen, but if I lay the pad on the kitchen floor she will not use it  Any suggestion? |
2 Attachment(s) Sean hates the rain, too. If he's anxioius and has to go quickly, we pick him up, carry him out to a non-puddle area and hold an umbrellla over him. When he isn't in too much of a hurry, I put on his raincoat. He's not too excited about the hat part but puts up with it. At least he stays dry. Notice the look on his face in the second pic. He ran in to get a drink of water before I had a chance to take off his raincoat. |
Hi, I was just thinking the same thing last night and today. Whenever it rains my dogs just look up at me at the door and give me the expression - "What you want me to go out there and get wet????" What works for me, and it might not work for everyone, is that I get out the old umbrella and rubber shoes and stand out there with them. It's kind of a pain in the neck sometimes but it gets the job done. Good luck! :rain: :goodluck: :umbrella: |
My baby is trained to do both and it's so nice that way. |

If you have an attached garage, just put pads in there. That's what I do. If not, maybe you can put up a big umbrella to keep a spot dry for her outside? |
