Harness and clothes Okay, you people told me not to use a collar on Buddy and to use a harness instead. That has worked out well, but today we took him to a pet boutique to buy him some shirts. Really cute ones. We tried one on to see how the fit was, and I couldn't figure out how to dress him with a harness?????? If you put the shirt on OVER the harness, it looks uncomfortable and you can't get at the ring on the harness to hook the leash on. Do you put the harness on OVER the shirt? Then what is the point of the cute little shirt. I don't know, lol....I want to dress him, but can't figure out how to do it. Solutions, please!! |
They have dresses vest etc with the harness d-ring on them... i just ordered one last week im not too sure how you would do it the way you are trying to? maybe someone else will! if you look at tinkerbellscloset.com on harnesses you will see what i mean lol! |
One Way or Another. . . For the shirts: sew a button-hole thru the back of the shirt and pull up the leash hook thru it. Put harness on first. For sweaters: put sweater on first, harness over it. When you get really good at making the "button-holes", harness babies can wear everything! |
I do the same thing. I put their harness on first, put the clothing on over it and mark where the button hole should be, and then take off the clothes and make the button hole. It works on almost all fabrics. |
i have shirts that already have the holes for the harness. |
