Who needs groomers!!!
 

I am getting better at grooming Cali and she is getting more cooperative!! Cali is the only dig out of 5 that I have ever atempted to groom and I am really enjoying it.
PS I mad the tye dye blanket she is sitting on! So far I have made 2 dog ones and 2 full size!

A few more, her coat is really being helped by Missing Links and cowboy magic

Thanks! I use the CC Day to DAY Shampoo and Pantene creame rinse mixed with Biogroom Oatmeal conditioner and then I rub a little Cowboy Magic detangler on her.

Thanks! Cali is 14 months! I bought the tye dye fabric at Walmart and made blankets for each of my dogs and a large one for my goddaughter.

Calli is sooo beautiful. I have admired her since before Chloe came home to me :) I'm going to learn too but not 100% ready yet. When she first came home and i finally found a groomer I could trust, I let Sue trim her every month, then we went to 2 months, she came to give Sissy her first bath in July when she came home & did Chloe too.I won't have her back until late Sept now. I do brush mine everyday and now it is paying off. They both fight to get on my lap to get brushed (a new thing) I am going to try and clip around her feet this week,(I read the book over & over - lift the opposite foot as they will try to life the one you're trimming) So far I got as far as clipping their nails. I was so scared but our store manager in our PetSmart told me to use the cat nail cutters instead of the dog ones. I did it yesterday and am so proud of myself:D I would like to take a class but until I find one & the time, my plan is to have Sue come twice a year to shape the girls, then I will try in between. If I don't do as good as you did Patti, then I'll just have to call Sue back early! I think the girls like it when I do them, so I just have to keep trying to get better. I don't get Chloe as shiney as you have Calli tho, I like her shine.

I love the pic where she is trying to dry herself off, it must be a yorkie thing that they rub all over the place after there baths! Lillie does this, she will rub her ears and nose all over the place!
