Teething Question!! Hello All! Nala is 6 months old and has already lost her front teeth and the adult teeth are in but today I noticed she was acting funny. She kept chewing on the side of her mouth and she was choking and drooling. When I looked inside of her mouth I see some blood on her gums. IS this the normal symptoms of loosing teeth, b/c this didn't happen w/ the front teeth so I am worried it may be something else! Any help would be appreciated! THANKS! |
When my babies were teething i dont recall their gums ever bleeding, im no expert, maybe another members knows, but if you are worried i would take her to the vets, hope she's alright  |
Kizzy is almost 7 months. She just lost some of her jaw teeth (I suppose baby ones) and she never did that. one day she and I were playing and something fell out of her mouth and i look down and it was one of her jaw teeth. This was maybe 3 or so weeks ago. never had any blood even on the tooth. Goodluck and someone else may have seen it happen before but like the message above, I would at least call the vet if you cant get an answer here. |
When Hobbs was teething his gums would bleed just a little when he lost the back teeth. Nothing major. |
About 15 mins ago I noticed Timmy kept chewing the side of his mouth too. I opened his mouth and didn't see anything in his mouth. Now i'm thinking he might of swallowed his tooth  I will be looking in his mouth again....like right now! |
When I was brushing Angel's teeth yesterday night w/ gauze, there was blood on the gauze. I looked inside her mouth and saw some blood on her gums. I also wonder if this is normal? |
Yes, when a tooth comes out there is a little blood. That is normal. Just be sure it doesn't continue bleeding. It should just be a little. |
when Lady lost some of her bigger teeth I did notice some blood, but it only bleed for a little while. I don't think its something to worry about, unless the bleeding doesn't stop. |
