What do you all think about dressing boy yorkies in girls clothes? I love that Peeka is a boy but i really want to do the whole frilly stuff like the furry sweaters and stuff what do you all think?

I wouldnt do it but I have a male and a female. They dont know the difference so I say to each there own.

I've seen boys clothes so use those. Don't put him in girl clothes :(. Maybe you can find a cute sailor suit or something.

LOL my husband would kill me but i have seen some cute little furry sweaters and i though well if i get it in green or red or blue it wouldn't be too bad but i was just wondering if anyone else does this to

I'm sure i will only dress him in boy clothes but he can be metrosexuall and what about the dog from legally blonde he was a boy in girls clothes lol

I wouldn't dress him in girls clothes, people will think he is a she, and then they'll think your nuts :eek: You can get some really cute clothes for males and some are kinda frilly and fluffy :)

I would have to also vote on boy clothes as well. You need to get a little girl. I started out with a boy and ended up getting a girl.

Okay, I'm going out on a limb here, but I don't think its going to matter to much to Peeka. I don't believe that a dogs identity is caught up in gender like ours is. And as for people thinking you are nuts.... a lot of people think we are nuts dressing up our yorkies anyways, so if thats a factor, I wouldn't dress him at all. If your okay with people mistaking him for a girl, I'd say go for it!!!!

I am for going with clothes, but boy colours. I put bows in Reggie's hair but I never put pink or purple. But then again I do not think your yorkie will care..lol

I've seen and make frilly boy clothes as well as "masculine" boy clothes. I make some cute fur, satin & sparkly boy coats, harnesses and shirts. You can always do things that are a little femine but still keep it masculine. He can be a hip metrosexual pup like you said :p

For sure - your little pup wouldn't know the difference - whether he's wearing girl clothes or boy clothes - and, I'm sure he'd look cute in anything and everything.

BUT - he's a boy!!! And - we know the difference. My little pup just seems so much a "little boy (male)" to me that I would be the one that felt funny if he was wearing a dress or a girl outfit.

I think you can stretch it to a point though - some sweaters, etc. - I'm sure you can get by with a lot of outfits that might be worn by either.

PS: Every time this subject comes up - I notice that most of the people here on YT come forward and say, "No - no - no!!!!"

But then - you can always do what you want anyway. What your little dog wears is your own personal decision. And, like I said earlier, I'm sure he could care less.

I say, if you want to dress your little boy in outfits, then DO IT! Who cares what everyone else thinks! Peeka will certainly never know the difference! To each their own.
