New to the YorkieTalk Group Hello, My name is Jai and I currently reside in Tucson, AZ. I'm new to the group and just wanted to introduce myself. My fiance and I have been looking for a little yorkie pup for quite some time now, but have not been able to find one within our price range or near where we live. We currently have a 13 year old keeshond and would like to add a new pup into our home before he passes. We're still actively searching, but have left it in God's hands to open the door for us to add a beautiful little baby to our home. Thanks for allowing me to be apart of this group and continue to learn about the breed until we bring one home...and after that! :) Thanks again. God bless, Jai :) |

Hi Jai and welcome to yorkietalk! |
Hi both of you new ones to the site WELCOME you will learn more here then in books. enjoy |
Hi Jai and welcome to YT!!! Have you looked into any of the Yorkie Rescue groups? It is a more affordable way to find a Yorkie. Please be wary of ads that offer pups free if you pay for shipping from out of the country. These are scam artists. Good luck with your search and hope to see you on here lots. |
Welcome Jai, Hope you find a baby in your price range. A keeshond? An extremely good friend of ours is a top keeshond breeder. Of course her puppies fetch $4000 each and keeshonds have huge litters to boot (up to 12 puppies if I'm not mistaken). We had a litter of hers stay with us for two weeks while she was away at a show across the country and I don't think we'll be doing that again any time soon :) They are VERY cute babies. Sweet and lovable but they just shed too much for us - our son has Asthma. |
Thanks I also have asthma. But Kimbo doesn't shed too too much. (It only becomes a slight problem in the winter) I would love to have another keeshond also. We thought we had found a breeder in Arizona, but caught her on her last litter. She did not want to over breed her little girl and I could do nothing but respect that. I love both breeds, keeshonds and yorkies. I trust that I'll have a chance to give a great home to both again at some point. Thanks again for all the great welcomes, Jai :) |
