Puppymill question Where can I go to find out more about Joyce Crider and Cute & Cuddly Kennel out of Missouri (USDA 43A2362)? I was going through the paperwork that Charlie's original owner gave Kelly and John (and they were kind enough to pass along) and it appears poor Charlie is a puppymill boy from Missouri that was transported to New York to the Puppy Boutique. He was sold EXACTLY on his 8 week birthday, so not sure how much younger he was when he came north. His Sire is Tiny Tim ABA-0376675-001 His Dam is Bridgett ABA-0141958-002 I'm assuming that those two must still be there - how can I get them out? And is there anyway for me to find anything out about his siblings (healthwise would be great)? J |
Have you tried to Google her name? I have seen posts that suggest members do that when they want to look someone up. |

Old post from 2006 Hi, I just joined because I googled my recently deceased dog's breeder name, Joyce Crider, and this post came up. I bought my dear Yorky from The Puppy Boutique in Brooklyn, NY 12 years ago. I just found her original paperwork because I loved my dog so much, I was hoping to get a puppy from her family line. I just read this and am realizing that my dog most likely came from a puppy mill! Does anybody know anything about the breeder, Joyce Crider, and The Puppy Boutique in Brooklyn, which is still in business? I know it's a very old post but any info would be appreciated! Thank you! |
The Puppy Boutique in Brooklyn, is a broker, I am ex NYer, my adopted boy came from them. They buy from puppy mills. I would stay far away from them. |
Thank you! Thank you for answering! I guess I got lucky that my girl was in such good health until she developed cancer at the age of 12, then went very quickly 😢 Thanks again for responding! I am finding it very hard to find a large Yorkie or Silky in my area, NJ |
Large yorkies lol. My now passed girl weighed in at 17 lbs. There are no breeders that breed for large yorkies, some litters will shoot a tiny or a large pup, it's a crap shoot. If you're looking for large you may be better off looking for a Silky, standard weight is 8 to 10 lbs, where as yorkie standard is 5 to 7 lbs. I LOVE the bigger yorkies, my adopted boy is 12 lbs and he came from The Puppy Boutique. My boy was a surrender, I stay in touch with the prev. owners, this is how I know where Cody was purchased from. They charge top dollar for puppy mill pups. The prev. owner said while she was in the car they were bringing many puppies in. Good luck in your quest to find your perfect baby. |
