Bunny just chewed thought my laptop cord, THANK GOD it was not pluged in!!

I was sitting in the kitchen making my husband lunch for tomorrow and I heard something, as if Bunny got into my Hubbys Jerky again (he tends to leave stuff out). I go into the living room and she had it in her mouth (the cord to my lap top) and looked at me and dropped it, then she took of running to my hubby.

I went to the couch to see what all she did to it and she riped the plug, that goes into the wall, Right off!!

I was so mad! I guess she is trying to tell me I need to spend more time with her... Like 24 hrs of the day it not enough :rolleyes:

I guess I will have to take my hubbys, until he gets me another one

Welcome to the wonderful world of yorkie destruction. When Chachi went through his destructive period he chewed the cord to our xbox, several area rugs and he chewed a hole in my carpeting

People who just get a Yorkie & have never had one, HAVE no idea how much they can chew!! I mean I NEVER in a millon years thought Tiffanie & Teddy would chew all the items up in my house that they did! We had a kitchen table that we got off my mom and they chewed the chair wrungs (Spellin' there) the part that hold the legs together, off of 3 of them...oh yeah so I got dowel rods and painted them, glued them back and sent the table back to her when we finally got my new one...Well don't U know when my hubby was taking the table & chairs back...The whole table & 3 chairs blew out the back of the truck and split all to peices...It really was funny cause here I worked so hard to make that table look good due to my dogs chewing habits (which I never told my mom they did & she never noticed it when she came to visit), all for nothing! So yeah they can chew bad...I tell my girls all the time...Get this up or that up or it's gone if the puppies get it! I NOW thanks to the teaching of Tiffanie and Teddy have my living room PUPPY PROOFED!!!! All wooden tables are gone...Nothing but he TV table which is very big and heavy, our couch, recliner, metal rocking chair & puppy crates & baby play pen and I even see them trying to crawl up it are in there!! And I even catch them if our grandaughter drops her passy while in her walker well there they all go diving for it...We all go through that with them! I know it's hard to see that something so little and precious as a Yorkie can chew what they chew up but they can...Sometimes I wonder if they aren't from the Termite family! Insead of dog family! LOL!

The same thing happened here. The cord was chewed in half so I was able to splice it, connect the individual wires, wrap each with electrical tape and then wrap them back all together with electrical tape. It's been a year now with no problems.

Yup - happened here too! My son had the pups in his room with him for an hour or so while he was playing xbox or one of the other ones.... lost the cord for the laptop - charger for the cell phone - TWO games for the x-box (one of which he just put down to put in the case only to find one pup ran off with the case - which while he was retrieving - the other pup took off with the game. I should note that this game was ONLY 24 hours old and was a replacement copy of the game for one the pup chewed the day before!)

As long as we keep plenty of different kongs around we usually do ok though.

She is not a puppy, she is 1 yr and half. so she knows better. Thats why she ran to her daddy :rolleyes:

I was thinking about it last night and I think she did it bc I picked up all her chew toys last night when I was cleaning and didnt put them back out.

My hubby bought another one online for about $8

so there is not scent of getting upset over spilled milk...even thou at the time it was upsetting...

Well Peeka has tried to disconect me from YT by chewing on the pc wires he also chews the corners of the wall my banaster and all my kids toys he shreds toliet paper paper towels anything that is paper and yes rugd and carpet. i think if you ever need your house demolished save some money don't hire a crew of men hire a crew of yorkies they will get the job done faster than any man LOL:lol tears :lol tears

When Sadie was a puppy she chewed my Mom's hearing aid to pieces!!! My Mom said it was her fault because she left it on the light stand next to her chair which Sadie could get to..Thank God she didn't swallow the battery!...Of course my Mom can't hear now lol!! just kidding!
