Sara loves to ride in her stroller. We use it often to go to outdoor shopping malls, and most recently took Sara to the Western Regional Little League games in her stroller. She loved seeing all the people and appeared to watch the game from her stroller... |

Yes, that would be a great use for one. The stroller we have has a tray to carry drink cups, and a basket underneath to carry everything Sara might need. We also took her to a large antique car show in it, and she garnered more attention than the cars:). She is all screened in and secure... |
I have to honestly say that the happy trail stroller we bought was one of the best investments we've made for poopy...second would be his car seat. at first i was nervous about the unwanted attention, but i found out that a lot of people like the idea....they thought it was awesome...and poopy loves loves loves it... we can take him almost everywhere....if you zip it up and throw a baby blanket over it...ppl think it's a real baby... also whenever possible i'd unzip the stroller and allow him to sit as i push him...like a convertable. hehe but i keep his leash tied to the handles though just in case he tries to make a dash out. i even take it to hotels and use it as his bed. my husband thought i was nuts at first and i joked that soon he'll be pushing poopy in it with out any shame...and now that's exactly what he does...imagine seeing a grown man pushing a doggy stroller through the mall...it sounds imbarrussing for him but he actually gets a lot of good attention from the females though.... :O |
my lil Elle loves her stroller. When my daughter and I go for our walks we take her in it. Louie, my 1 yr old, likes it but he would rather walk and mark his territory.lol Anyways, my daughter races motocross and we take the stroller to the races so that I dont have to hold the dogs or have them on leashes with chances on getting ran over by a 4-wheeler or a dirt bike. So I'd say its a good investment. I do get teased a lil bit from my friends about having a stroller for a DOG. But they aren't dog lovers like me. But I ask them is they would rather carry the dogs the whole time. |
I am going to get the pink happy trails one. |
I was getting ready to order the pink hapy trails from ebay but my Husband said he wont push the pink one so I am going to get the blue one. The blue one is $62.00 on Ebay. The pink one is $75.00. The shipping is $18.00 |
I haven't got one yet because I'm waiting for Happy Trails to come out with a 3 wheel pink stroller -- so far they only have the 3 wheel in blue and red. :( |
I have the SUV stroller and honestly I've used it once in 3 years and that was when I took Simon and Hallie it NYC. It was perfect for the city and I was so thankful I had it. Other than that is sits in my closet :( |
I have been thinking about getting one too. Will be interesting to read any more comments on this. |
I got the Happy Trails pink stroller first, but my husband was also embarassed by all of the attention, so I ordered the blue one and now we have two of them. The blue one stays in the car we take to go as a family, and the pink one is in my car for my separate little excursions with Sara:). We are both happy now...and so is Sara. |
love it I have 15 pet carriers I purchased a stroller havent used carrier since just love my stroller my babies do too |
I got the blue Happy Trails stroller the first time I saw it in a magazine. I love it. I also got a smaller stroller by Outward Hound that fits better in our cars and our very small motor home. My husband and one friend ribbed me about it at first but I didn't care because my babies both weigh about 12 lbs and when they get tired walking they can get VERY heavy to carry. We go to a lot of dog events (rescue events held in parks, etc) and as soon as my husband saw how everyone was coming over to admire the puppies in the stroller, he just took it over! Now he is the regular stroller pusher. A lot of people told me they wanted one too and asked where I got it. I think I was one of the first around here to get one and people didn't know they made strollers for dogs. A few people think it is stupid but most people love it. When we go camping I walk them around the campgrounds and get tons of attention from people admiring them, even though I am not really wanting the attention, I don't really mind it. When we are just sitting outside at the campsite Daisy wants to lay in the stroller instead of on her cot. She loves the confined feeling of it and I think she feels safe in there. I often have people asking me if they can take a picture of them in their stroller. I also take them for walks in the park and when they get tired I put them both in the stroller together. They will sometimes argue with each other when we pass another dog walking but they are usually calm and they LOVE riding in it. When they are tired walking and want in the stroller they will tell me by looking a the stroller and then looking at me. At first they didn't want to ride together and they would just argue because they were in such confined close quarters together. So I let them get used to riding alone in the stroller first and then put them together. They were fine after that. I notice that when I am walking them on a walking trail in a park most men that pass me will say "you should be walking those dogs instead of pushing them in a stroller". Then I explain that after about 20 minutes of walking they are too tired to walk so then they ride. Sometimes I put my headphones on and I don't have to explain to these guys that they have already walked and are now resting. I think the strollers are worth every penny. |
I am thinking of getting the Happy Trails stroller as my 12 lb 9 year old pom has a hard time walking with Cali and I and I don't want to leave her home. For anyone that has the Happy trails stoller 1. Pink vs blue i think I would feel less noticable in blue and could my 12 lb pom and 4 1/2 lb Yorkie both fit in it. |
