if you have had a yorkie pass away have you ever seen or felt them as a spirit? i have, the first yorkie i had (ben) was killed by a car when i was about 12 and about a month later i was in bed not asleep and i felt like something had jumped over me kind of like the feeling you get in your tummy when you go over a bridge and then i could feel heavy breathing in my face like panting but i was facing a wall, i knew it was ben but i was to scared to open my eyes. when scampi died nothing happened after but when sasha had her first heart attack and she died so i was giving her mouth to mouth i felt like i couldnt go on and gave up but then i felt my mum and scampi were standing behind me and i needed to try again so i did and sasha started breathing again, after that sasha was very strange and if anyone said scampis name she would jump up and look for him but she hadnt done that for years before that day, then when sasha died a week later i could feel scampi and my mum there again so i told her to go with them.sasha also came back and was flying around my bedroom, she was a little black shadow, i knew it was her as i could feel it was, my boyfriend saw her too and so did my other yorkies, she came back a couple of times after that.my sister went to a church to see a medium last week and the lady said my mum was there and she had 3 yorkies with her and described ben,scampi and sasha and even said how ben died and to let me no he didnt feel any pain.

has anyone else seen or felt there yorkie after its passed away?:aimeeyork

I've never had a yorkie that passed away. My oldest yorkie is over 2 years old. I've heard of other types of pets that have passed and have "come back" to visit their owners. It's kinda sad to me...their loyalty/love is so strong that they cannot pass over to Rainbow Bridge.

oh they do pass over, they just pop back now and again to kind of say they are ok, they are not in limbo and stuck here.

they are with my mum in heaven or what ever someone wants to call it.

I would love to see my madda one more time ..she passed yesterday and it still hurts ...at times I feel like it never really happened...but I know it did.. it's a horrible feeling...

We had our first Yorkie for 12 years, he passed on 9-16-04 and I have felt his presence several times since...I also believe Jo has seen him several times. The night he passed I laid in bed bawling like a baby, I closed my eyes and saw the clearest picture of him standing in a grassy area, trees behind him with a stoney brooke and bridge in front of him. He was perfectly groomed and looked healthy and beautiful...he looked at me and said 'it's o.k. Mom...even the big guys like me here!' and he ran off to play. That was an eye opener...Boog never had 'friends' while he was here...he was Mamma's boy. The next day his picture fell off the wall for absolutely no reason, it had been there for 5 years and had never fallen before, the nail and back of the picture were fine...it just fell. I've heard his toenails on the floor and felt the warmth of his body laying on or next to me more than once. Jo has stood playfully barking at 'something' when there is nothing there and he's barked at me a couple times when we go to bed...almost like something is in his place. I know he's passed over but I also know he's been here with me more than once and it's comforting to know he still loves me. Here's a couple pictures of boog...I miss him everyday!

I wish I was able to see or feel my little Kramer who passed in January. I miss him so much. Maybe it takes a special kind of person to be able to sense their spirit. Were you thinking about them or doing anything special when they showed up?

Me? No...it just happens at different times.

Teri, that gave me chills to read but comforting at the same time. When my Koko had to be put to sleep at age 16, we buried him in our backyard. That night we sat on the patio looking at his grave, crying and talking about him. Suddenly, a strange blue light arched over the patio table and we heard a loud popping noise. We discovered it was the dining room light that exploded just inside the patio glass door. I've always wondered if that was Koko as that has never happened before or since. Coincidence, maybe? I also thought I heard him sniff..he had a unique sniff when he wanted something. I was alone in the computer room and it was so eerie I got up but could find nothing that would make that noise.:confused:

im so sorry for your loss, its so horrible when you lose one, i dont no if im right here or not but i feel it depends on if the time was right for them to go weather they come back or not, when a dog dies its horrible and heartbraking no matter the age of the dog or how they died but the dogs ive lost have all felt different in a way, when ben died it didnt feel right didnt feel like it was his time and he came back,when scampi died it did hurt like hell but it felt right it was his time and he didnt come back apart from to get sasha, when sasha died it didnt feel right and she came back.i kind of have the same feeling with people too, my died when she was only 53 and she was my life but it felt right it was her time, not sure if my explaning it right but i hope so. i think if a dog comes back it wasnt its right time to go and can show its self to you straight away but if a dog dont come back or you cant see it or feel it it was its right time and maybe in time it will show its self to you. so maybe your little one will come back and see you one day.

sorry i ment to say my MUM died at 53.

he was lovely.

Boog used to make a sniffing noise when he wanted my attention too...like a fake sneeze...it was so cute! If he wanted something and we weren't looking the right direction he would lock eyes with you and then move his head in slow motion like we're supposed to follow his eyes...he usually ended up looking at the treat container! That little guy had so many uinque qualities...life with Booger was a blast!

no nothing special at all. i do think some people can see more easy than others though.im so sorry for your loss.

That's exactly what Koko would do! Your Boog was beautiful and just like Koko, very spoiled.:) Here's a pic of koko at age 8 years.

Thank you! He was my boy...he was his Dad's boy too but when things got deep or he didn't feel good he ran to me! Your Koko was adorable! I love the little sniffing sound Boog made...I miss that one. I'm sure you heard your Koko...there's just nothing else like that sound.

My son has seen my passed yorkies several times, he told me they come to him with a white cloud around them, and they look happy and young again.:)

When he was 2, he played with my mom's yorkie (Dusty) who he had never met, you can imagine the scare i got when he was on the floor calling Dusty to play.

I have felt them on my bed, something was laying next to me, but there was nothing there?

I don't see them, though i have seen them thru my other yorkies.

A psychic told me, after my last yorkie passed, i would feel the bottom of my legs itch, it would be her visiting me, i have felt that a lot.

WOW! What a remarkable story!

I have not actually seen Kloey but I had a unexplainable thing happen to me about a month ago.

I had lost my wedding ring, it is a white-gold band and my husband had it engraved and it says "Semper Amemus" meaning "are love is forever" I never take it off and it fits pretty snug. Well one day I up and notice that my ring is missing, I started looking all over for it, checked my bed, under my bed thinking maybe it slipped off while I was sleeping. Changed my sheets and just did a thero check in my room and came up with no ring. I looked under the couch, in the cushions, under the chairs and nothing. So I just let it go and figured it would turn up somewhere. About 2 weeks passed and I was searching for are remote control, seems my kids love to lose it, but anyways I did my search again and tipped my chair over and low and behold, there is my ring under MY chair, the chair that I always held Kloey in, my ring was laying in the middle of the floor, perfectly in the center of the floor!
I was like OMG, there's my ring!, told my hubby and he was like, "huh! I'll be!"
It was kinda spooky!

Yes, I remember your post...that was very strange. I remember saying that Kloey is telling you that the love you share is forever. I think they're always with us in spirit. :lovewings

When my Taffy was sick and dieing i kept have this dream of a pup named Sissy sleeping above my head. I now have a SISSY and she sleeps above my head. I did not train her to do this. I believe this was my taffy 2 sending her love to me to help me get through my sorrows. and yes sometimes I still can smell her around me.

Yes, I've felt my baby Bentley around. I've since gotten another yorkie and he sees Bentley. He actually plays with him....it's so weird to see. It's such a wonderful feeling to know that he's still coming around. He was such a sweet puppy....and I miss him so much.
