First puppy gone! Well today my first puppy left. It was harder than I thought because she was my sons favorite. He is 19. She went to a senior citizen that just lost her yorkie 2 weeks ago. SHe thinks she had a heart attack. She was 10 and the lady walked into the kitchen and came back into the living room and she was gone. Very quick so it had to be a heart attack. She said before that she was just fine walking around playing etc. I hope this new baby helps heal her heart since she is a widow living alone. I know my baby will be loved and be a great companion. I have 3 more going soon Sunday, Monday and next Thursday which leaves me with 2 puppies left, a perfect female and a perfect male. I am going to let them out to see if Mommy notices one gone. Oh well this is all part of having puppies but its still hard. Tears! |
Awwwwwwwwwwwwe:( I'm sorry that your babies are leaving you. I know it must be so sad to see them all go. I have contemplated breeding in the past, but I just could not bear to part with any of the puppies! Good for you for finding them great homes where they will be loved and adored  |
:aimeeyork Well, thank you for being able to breed them and allowing people like me to adopt, love, and care for them. I know it must really hurt but let it be tempered by the great joy you bring to so many. I too could never breed because I could never part with them. Who would be good enough for one of my babies? Who would love and keep them safer, than me? Thank You!:aimeeyork |
Gosh, I dont' know if I could do that. I'd have so much trouble letting the babies go! They're all so cute! Guess it's best I had Sadie spayed. I don't know how all of you breeders do it. |
I don't know how you can do it!! This is one of the reasons that I didn't want to breed! I would have ended up keeping all of them lol |
my little girl had a litter of puppies 8 weeks ago. I still have them all with me and plan to keep them for a while yet, but I am already dreading them leaving. One is sold and I haven't even advertised the other two. I just love em so much and if I were to keep them, I would have a total of 4 yorkies. What does everyone think? Is four too many? |
Well if it's the hubby's choice..2 is enough...if it was my choice I'd have a house full of em....:D |
We had puppies in April 2006, and it was very, very hard to let the puppies go. I did keep one tho... and my friends have the other 2 so they are close by and I can watch them grow and become great furbabies for some really great people.... Now I have three YT and I love having them. They are soooo much fun.... |
