Friday night I went to Petsmart (yes the big outing on a Friday night for this 24 year old was going to Petsmart!) and got a slicker brush and some of those yogurt drops. I love how Hercules' hair looks when I use the slicker brush, it's just so great! And it feels so soft! And they absolutely love the yogurt drops, great recommendations from those of you that use them.

We got into the spririt of spring by putting some pastel baby bows in Hercules' and Athena's hair. They didn't stay in long. Only long enough for me to take some pics...

First one is Athena, second Hercules, third both...

His coat looks great, the more you put the bows in, the more they get used to it, which in turn, the more they allow it... :)

They both look WONDERFUL! :) They are doing better with the bows than Tia - I can barely get them in her hair!!

I'm glad to hear they like the yogurt drops! :thumbup:

AWWWW! CUTE! Haven't heard of the yogurt drops...I guess I am not as hip as some of you :p I will have to check them out the next time I am there.

they are both so adorable. what a proud mommy you must be :cool: . It looks like that slicker brush does wonders thier coats look bueatiful.

scrappy does a little dance for his ,he also loves the doggy pops its a lollipop of creamy peanut butter or bacon flavor and he also likes the freeze dried ice cream , they also have pudding for the pups. :)

Very stylish kids you have there. :D mine like liver treats. and canine carryouts they would do anything for one of them. My kids chew the ends off the bows when i put them on the ones that will wear them.

Thanks so much for the compliments!

The bows did not stay in very long. They are just clip bows that I got in the infant/toddler section of Target.

I'm always up for trying new treats with the two of them, so I'll have to try the liver treats next. Maybe this Friday night I'll make another trip to Petsmart! :D

What fun!! Athena and Hercules are so beautiful! I can't think of anything I'd rather do on a Friday night than take my pups to Petsmart!! Thanks for sharing!

Maybe I missed something,,, but whats the diffrence with this slicker brush?? Please fill me in.... Bailey hates getting brushed/ combed,,, need something to try?! :confused:

I don't think the brush makes them like being brushed more, but I think the result from the brush is better. It just makes Hercules' coat look so much nicer and softer.

How old is Bailey?? Hercules is almost 8 months and it's only been in the past month or so that he'll let me brush him without trying to eat, play with, or lick the brush. It might take some time. Even if you only get a few brushes in, do it every day and eventually he'll calm down.
