When we got her, an old man told my husband, "My daughter had a little dog like that once, and an acorn fell out of a tree, hit it on the head, and killed it dead". Hahaha, we thought he was just trying to be funny....until this happened to US! Now...you know what....if the acorn was big enough, and hit it just right, I could see it happening! :p

You'll have to pardon my gallows humor, but it's part of the way we've dealt with this! And it actually sort of serves a useful purpose around the house....like I say, we've always tried to be careful around her, but now the kids are even MORE aware. They'll be messing with something, and say, "Don't drop THAT on Mazie's head! That would kill her for SURE!" :p

Sooooo (getting back to the point!:rolleyes: ), sure, if you think it would be helpful, share the story with whoever you'd like. I know sometimes it TAKES a bizarre story to stick in someone's head, and drive a point home.
