RLC12345678 | 08-01-2006 01:57 PM | I know different strokes for different folks, but I got a yorkie when I was in college and now, 4 years later, it lives with my sister :rolleyes: I thought I had time for a dog, but I really didn't. It wasn't until I got married that I got another yorkie. But even now, with me working there is no way in h*ll that I could care for my dogs by myself. I think that unless you are a stay at home mom, it is a 2 person job. I could not have a dog if it weren't for my hubby helping out. Yorkies are especially demanding. Especially when they are puppies you have to really monitor them to make sure they eat enough and don't get hypoglocemic.
However, there are a lot of college students on YT that have yorkies! You should try starting a thread about "Calling all college students" or something :p Get other's opinions on how they handle school and a yorkie. I think that would be the first place to start.
Yorkies are fabulous! You would love one so much! I commend you for being responsible enough to really weigh your options before deciding to get a dog. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: |
