I took a picture of a miracle today! 1 Attachment(s) My husband holding and petting Annabelle! I had to check outside to see if pigs were flying. This is unprecedented, folks. He has NEVER given her attention...until today! |
Now that's great news!! I remember your other thread, what an improvement :D WTG girl, give him time, she will pull on he's heart strings like he won't know what got over him. She will be Daddy's little girl in no time, just wait and see ;) |
How cute ! |
Look at her face! She's absolutly GLOATING! Like "See... No man can resist my charm!" I can't imagine how hard it was for your husband to pretend he wasn't smitten with her... (You know he must have been just dying to hold her!). Must be one stubborn man! Next thing you know she is going to turn him into Jello! Did your knees go weak when you saw them together? |
She looks as if she can't really believe it either. |
Thats great! |
wow, how could anybody not want to pick her up and hold her? She is gorgeous. |
I was like your husband, not close to any animal in my life, I've had dogs for about 18 yrs. But Buffy just stole my heart, it took her a while but now I follow her anywhere... So give him time alone with her, you'll catch talking baby talk to her;) Q. Where did you get her barrette??? |
Ah . . .that's sure is a familiar sight . . .Leah, your Annabelle is truly 100% very feminine . . .no wonder your hubby could not resist her charms |
Awww, that is so sweet. Bet he wont be able to leave her alone now!:p |
Gosh! How could he NOT???? Now hopefully he is hooked for life!:D |
she is so cute :) |
They all fall for them sooner or later...how could they resist? :) :) My husband was dead set against me keeping one of our puppies (Izzie) and making our Yorkie total 4. Now all you hear is "where's my little Izzie girl", "Does Izzie love her daddy?" He just loves her as he loves the other 3. |
How sweet! You may have to get him his own!! |

Great news. Nobody can't resist that sweet face. Im so happy that he is falling for Annabelle. Nice pic. |
my dad was so upset that my mom got boo i mean he wouldn't even look at him and now when he comes home from work boo ambushes him with kisses and my dad is a manly man so it is hilarious how he has opened up to him. he gets mad at my mom for giving him any table scraps (like Chicken) but we caught him red handed the other night sneeking boo a piece of chicken!! LOL They put on such a maucho show but they are all big babies at heart! |
Awww, that even brought a tear to my eye. It so reminds me of my situation. My husband bought me my first yorkie, cause I needed the happiness at a bad time in my life. I just had my hysteroctomy surgery and I went into a depression state and my hormones were all out of whack. Anyways after being put on meds and seeking help, I needed something at home that would make me happy at all hours of the day. My husband knew how much I've wanted a yorkie and he decided to go through with it, not liking the yorkies himself. He has always liked his English Bulldogs. We had one at the time, and so we each had our own dogs. I spoiled Louie (yorkie) so much and my hubby was sickened. Long story, short....we couldnt keep our bulldog due to certain reasons, and then Louie was saddened. He lost his playmate. After 2 months, I couldnt stand to see him sad anymore. I begged for another yorkie, but this time I wanted a lil girl to spoil. He fought me for a while on this, and then finally gave in. He was sad still from having to find a new home for his bulldog, and he felt like we were replacing his dog with 2 of mine that he didnt much care for. Well................. after we got Elle, my first yorkie(louie) had attached himself to my husband. He also has gotten to like Elle. He plays with her and holds her, and will even let her kiss him in his face. Which he would never let a dog do. It has on several occasions, brought me to tears seeing them interact with one another. He has begun to have a love for my babies. Who would have ever guessed. They bring so much joy to my life, that I honestly don't know where I would be without em. I have been off the medication for over a year, and got all my hormone levels back where they should be. So yorkies CAN change a person's life, cause they sure changed mine. :D |
Those little ones get to you even big, strong macho men like my hubbie. They try to ignore the little ones but they capture your heart. My little Jasmine is 18 weeks on Tuesday and she "rules" the house and both of our hearts. What a sweetie she is. Marhat and Jasmine (my precious little girl) |
